The first bleaching was also a "bath." You mixed bleach powder with a shampoo. You should follow the directions on the bleach when using it to get the correct ratios. It's more effective that way. Plus you can add a protein rebonder to prevent damage, such as Olaplex. That way you won't need shampoo or conditioner in the mix. To prevent darker ends, you should apply the dye to the roots and mids. Wait about 75% of your total time then apply the dye to the ends.

Lee Lu this is incorrect....you’re NEVER supposed apply bleach to the roots first.... the roots process quicker due to the heat from your head, you’re supposed to always start at the end and work your way up.

Idk if anyones said this but yellow + purple makes brown so the reason the top is more brownish is because it was brassier there. Glad you fixed it though!

Next time you want to pull semi permanent hair dye out use “JOICO Color Intensity Remover” FIRSTTTT! (Also have someone help you evenly distribute it through your whole head (doing roots last) it’s basically a bleach but not.

Hi thanks for commenting 😊 Honestly I've tried a lot of different semi permanent dye brands and I feel like they're all the same. I feel like it really just depends on the color, some colors just last longer than others... I decided to go with manic panic ultra violet because I don't think theres any other brand that has a similar purple to this one. This purple is a cool tone purple so it's more of a blue/purple, if that's what you're going for then I do recommend this one, it's such a pretty color in my opinion. Maybe I'll make an update video in 2 weeks to show how much its faded 👍

I have the blue manic panic yes it washes out a little everytime if you shampoo your hair. I try not to wash my hair so often. On the comtainer it says 8 washes. After 6 washes it has faded my blue to a green 😳
