I use this too, except in Mahogany Red. I also follow up with a 1 part ACV, 4 parts water spray to lock in the color.

I haven't colored my own hair since I've been loc'd. My stylist us in maternity leave so I'm about to do it myself soon and I'm terrified. Yours turned out great. I can't find many people with locs using this brand. Thanks for posting.

Do I have to bleach my hair first? I'm trying to avoid that option. Temp dye works but it stains everywhere.

You don’t have to . I didn’t bleach mine since my hair is naturally brown and would take the color a little .

I permanently dyed my hair gold 4 weeks ago. Is it safe for me to use this? And would the color come out differently because my hair is so light? I got wine brown btw

I feel like as long as your hair is strong and healthy you should be fine . This is a semi permanent color so It will only bind to the surface of the hair strands and wash out over time. And yes the color will look brighter on you . Hope this answers your questions :)

When doing this...you have to rinse the hair EXTREMELY WELL DOE A LONG TIME! Squeezing the color out real good!!

It felt soft . I went in after to use the products I normally do for my retwist , so that could of been a factor of my locs being soft . I know when I had rinsed it out , my hair didn’t feel dry or anything .

You can but it’s not required . If you want the color to pop more you can bleach it
