Bro Jon is hilarious. He's starting off the pod with chaotic energy. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dyl: "How is being a father?" Jon: "I'll let you know when..... I experience it." They gotta bleep him out too! Bro I'm crying! 🤣🤣🤣

Confirmed Baby talk is the reason. My lil cousin hated me for the longest and only recently (after taking initiative to spend Moree time with him) now he loves me. But baby talk is for sure the reason he look at you crazy for the moment. My remedy was like 2 weeks of constantly being in front of him 5-6 days out of the week.

I also tend to prefer melancholy songs, and for a long time I have tried to articulate why. I think they seem more honest or real for some reason. I think that reason is because we see sorrow and trouble, and are able to communicate suffering and sadness adequately, where it feels like the glimmer of Real hope or The Longing for Real triumph is almost too sweet, or precious, or beautiful to talk about openly. C. S. Lewis wrote about this in The Weight of Glory, where he said it almost felt indecent to discuss the Real Longing, because our language can't do it proper justice. Art often reaches for these things and can help describe them, but not easily. I feel also when reaching for joy, it leaves a feeling like naive idealism, or in better cases: "ah man, so close, that was almost it... but not it...." Consider, for instance, the feeling of the climax and eucatastrophe in the Lord of the Rings, when the Ring is finally destroyed...this took an entire epic work full of peril, sorrow, and despair, just to give the reader a glimpse of that true triumph. So I think in music, (to me at least) I feel like typically (there are some exceptions) the sad songs actually hint at this 'Longing' better as a contrast to the darkness. Anyway, maybe I'm nuts also, but just some of my thoughts on this.
@johnnyappleseed92427 ай бұрын
yo dyl, you should really look into doing a collab with Christian artist GRAHAM. You are my two favorite Christian artists, and i bet you wouldnt let down with a song or feature or something of that nature. either way, keep up the great work and praising the Lord! love you bro

ight. can't decide what to comment so here is a list of things I felt like commenting throughout the video 1.Jon's son is going to suffer from this man, he is unhinged 2. damn we like some of the same things about music 3. The all we got slander is CRAZY 4. There's no way they didn't plan to have a christian hip hop name dropping contest 5. Dyl still didn't define cathartic 6. Zebras being racist is almost as obvious as a flamingos being gay

I loved the conversation, but to say that a guy (baby in this case) is gay for smiling at another guy, even joking, perpetuates the idea that guys cannot be loving or sensitive, and if you are, you are gay. It is very sad. I would love to see Christian men breaking these stereotypes instead of perpetuating them.
