Also I would think the Beverly hills beach club would have painted over/removed the old height marks Dylan points out to Brandon. Jack was proud of Dylan but here too he made bad choices since the cabana is merely being rented out and was the property of the beach club.

I don't think they had worked out what would happen to Dylan after his dad was sent to jail--and presumably lost the corporate pad (paid for with the money from people jack swindled). And they may have not gotten use of the bungalow he later had for exterior and some interior shots. I assumed the bungalow came from his dad's attorneys who realized Dylan needed somewhere to go.
