4 years ago today we lost Luke Perry. It's so sad. ( Brenda was cheating too with Rick while in Paris. Everyone wants to come after Dylan and Kelly but Brenda did the same thing.

@js80s02lu: I agree, it's disgusting that they cheated on Brenda. To me, Kelly/Dylan are definitely neither the dream couple nor a match made in heaven! But they were more than sex and a fling. They were on and off through seasons 3-5 and seasons 9-10, and they did end up together, planning a life and kids.

she actually came a long way throughout the series. She became too strong to be with Brandon, who she was with to become her own person. She also became a softer, deeper person. Dylan shows how deep he really is here and what he feels for her. They were both very emotional characters which is perhaps the reason some do not like these two, but they pretty much were the main focus of the show and such characters are necessary in shows to add humanness. They learned from their life.

Too strong for Brandon?? As if she had a choice?? If Brandon wanted to stay with her, they would have continued on. Kelly was after Brandon basically the entire series and was in other relationships only when she couldn't have him or when he would turn her down.

Guys, it was complicated and not such smooth sailing. Don’t forget this all happened because Luke (RIP) didn’t want to work with Shannen (wishing her the best) any longer. Garth was easier to work with, hence this interesting storyline. The point is, these two were comfortable with each other, no matter with whom else you wanted them to be. Also, Dylan never cheated on Kelly. Just another observation. Yet Another observation is the scenes between these two, such as this one, are quite nice, and that’s why, to this day, people watch them.

Never cared for Brenda. DK was interesting, thought they both had a better match elsewhere though. Antonia brought the best out of Dylan, while Brandon brought the best out of Kelly. Garth and Priestley's chemistry was undeniable....it's no wonder Garth liked her character best with Brandon. The DK split spoke volumes. Neither was the least bit brokenhearted over there split........that was made crystal clear when Kelly wasted no time at all getting on a plane to aggressively pursue Brandon. Just another observation. Even prior to all that, it didn't take Kelly very long into her relationship with Dylan to tell him she wanted to see other people.......as a viewer, that was the first sign and told me a lot about Kelly's mindset as it pertained to Dylan and her overall lack of FULL investment in him. Even more telling was Kelly's inability to hide her long time interest in and/or attraction to Brandon, no matter if she was dating Dylan or anyone else..........a common theme for Kelly throughout the show.

They made it seem like kelly pushed Dylan away and only went after him after Brenda broke up with him. That’s so not true. She went to his house when she fucking knew better then she goes to Paradise Cove and sleeps next to him. No! They didn’t give a shit about Brenda. And I really hate how Dylan is away from her for 5 seconds and he’s ready to dump her at every turn with Kelly. Some best friend is right!

Susan Dee Kelly was not in love with Dylan. Nothing throughout the series would indicate that. After high school Kelly was quick to start liking other guys like Sears, she constantly flirted and clearly enjoyed being in the presence of Brandon Walsh anytime she could be around him (even while being with Dylan) and as soon as Kelly and Dylan ended things, Kelly doesn't think twice about hopping on a plane to chase after Brandon and be in his bed within 24 hours. Did I mention Kelly tells Brandon she loves him NUMEROUS times throughout the series but never says those same words to Dylan? Don't forget, Dylan was all for starting things up again with Brenda at the start of college........but it was Brenda who told him she thought it was best that they didn't at the time.

Kelly even mention without sex we don't have relationships. Also the Thanksgiving episode when Kelly invited him over he turn it down but when Brenda invited him over, he didn't twice before saying yes despite the fact Kelly was his gf and Brenda was his ex.
