The fact that this amazing violinist did not have as shining an international career as others such as Anne Sophie Mutter and many others as well, is clear and significant proof that there is something seriously wrong with the music industry.

+Frank Dodge You need to read about her life to understand what happened to her. It's a sad story. But she bounced back and today is a mom and a teacher AND a performer.

Jenson chose to marry at a young age and have children - four of them. The same thing happened to Camilla Wicks - Camilla had five children. Their careers were curtailed but I don't think they really missed anything. I consider both brilliant violinists/artists and very successful persons.

This is my favorite interpretation of the Kreutzer. There's something wrong with the audio though. At parts, I hear the violin part echoing.

... welch temperamentvolle, feinsinnige und intellektuelle junge Geigerin - wunderbare Interpretation, auch im Zusammenspiel mit ihrem ausgezeichneten Klavierpartner ... Nach sehr früher internationaler Karriere bevorzugte sie es offensichtlich, als renommierte, international hochgeschätzte Violinpädagogin zu wirken - mit gelegentlich großen Konzertauftritten, etwas ferner vom glamoureusen "Mainstream"... (vgl. auch weitere, leider filmisch z.T. sehr alte Dokumente).
