The breakdown on this song, with the distortion really just hits different. The whole song has this vibe of reminiscing, remembrance, and sorrow, and just ends with a distorted mess. I love it.

Double-commenting on this video to say thank you for helping me be me. It started with you and Laura; 100 gecs was just such pure and unadulterated "this is who we are and we're having a fucking blast" energy. But so far all of your solo stuff has spoken to me in the same way. My whole life I've been somewhat ashamed of who I am, and I don't know why. Watching you do your thing has really inspired me to be apologetically me. I love you Dylan. You've changed my life. (I love Laura too for much similar reasons but this is your song/video so I am focusing on you). From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Dylan, it’s kinda crazy, I have a great relationship with my dad, but, this song hurts me all the same. It gets to me knowing that a lot of people do not know what it is to have a father / mom bringing you up/being supportive.. It makes me think that I may be taking his time here, for granted, whilst, there are a lot of other people out there who’d give everything just to have such a relationship. Thank you for this song, life ain’t simple, music is everything.

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. Been 5 years since the last time I saw him. I miss his stories about when he was young. Getting older is crazy. I used to visit him every single year but now I work a lot and damn... we still call each other every now and then, but it's not the same. I think about him every time I listen to this song. It's even crazier for me to think that the last time I saw him I was 15. A lot of stuff changed in my life and I would love to tell him everything that happened.

sucks it took a year for me to find/hear this... good stuff man.. very groovy and funky with some emotional and thoughtful lyrics :) edit : just a side note... my dad left me when i was around 8. he didnt leave my small town. he moved a mile from my house. he still never talks to me. some times i see him at a store and we make eye contact and he just walks the other way. the sad thing is, i dont think hes intentionally being rude when he does it.. he just genuinely doesnt know what i look like now. this song is truly something special that you should be proud of. i know there are a lot of us out here who feel the same.

Hey - you would make any father proud. Not from your successes but because it’s so clear how much you want to be a good person. We left my dad when I was four and looking out the back of the car is when linear time starts for me - it was forever different. I’ve come to realize we have to take dads as they come and meet them where they let us: asking them to be different is a fool’s errand. Anyway, thanks for your honesty.

Dylan Brady always making banger songs, besides that I love all of his hard work that he used to put in his music these years, can't wait to see their new songs or at least remix playlist this year, that would be great

Alot of times when artists go solo and sing there own music it can be very different but him and Laura music are pretty similar they do have there own vibe each but it shows why it works well together
