Just ordered a Dylan dogear P90 for my Epiphone Special II which I turned into a Junior. So excited to get some more clarity and note definition with this guitar. I play slide and open G stuff on it, and have always found it to have too much low end with the stock Epi dogear P90. But the guitar itself is super resonant and plays really well, so I'm hoping the Dylan P90 gets me closer to that classic Jr tone everybody wants.

I returned the HB and bought a Gretsch 2215, a great guitar with a P90 in the neck and a bucker in the bridge..

I thought my SG Special was killer. I played a vintage model back to back with the newer one and I’m in the market for pickups. Does the current SG Special need wiring upgrades? I haven’t taken it apart yet.

Don't really know what's the best place to make this question but... Here it goes: Why not to use alnico pole pieces on humbucker? I guess they are all just steel slugs, right? Why not magnet bar + alnico magnezited pole pieces? Cheers mate, been watching a lot of your videos
