Tube guitar amp guy here, but wanting to have a tube stereo setup for practice and entertainment. This looks just like the ticket. :)

Love to see your mods to this amp, building mine at the same time paying very close attention to Morgan Jones' book. Cheers!

Morgan Jones book is very good.

Yes! I’ve heard pretty good things about Aluminum as a medium in sound. I dunno exactly where besides planars and caps

oh so looking forward to this build. should be better than buying one of those reisong amps.

take your time building that take a lot of close up of the PCB and chassis if possible 😁

If you want the silver look rca jacks, some people say the rhodium plate is as good as or better than gold plated. Cost is about the same. Looking forward to this video as I have a VTA ST-70. Interesting to see what mods you make.

The only option I see in the style that will fit are gold and nickel. The nickel looks nice. www.tubesandmore.com/products/rca-jack-switchcraft-front-panel-mount-natural-insulator

Looking forward to build video. I'm thinking about getting a tube amp or maybe kit. In that I hope you explain why the changes in parts and wiring. Thanks

Yay! I wanted one of these or the m120s for such a long time. All those blue glow pics of the amps with 6550s really sold the amp to me...psychoaccoustics I guess

I built the Bob Latino (VTA) M125s and the instructions were stellar!! I guess not using them is fine too.... LOL Seriously though, if you have some ability and experience soldering both point to point and circuit board, the instructions will make for a very successful build! A great amp, I had bought one before the M-125s, already assembled and loved the sound! 🙂I have vids of it (M-125)....🙂

I plan to read them. Might not follow everything in them :P

I've searched Lowe's and can not find any listing for this kit. Having built a Dynaco back in the 60s, I'm interested in which of the newer offerings is this? Please provide URL.

Everyone knows that black pc boards are sonically superior to green pc boards 🥴😂

Absolutely!!! Add some nickel plated RCA jacks and the sound stage is doubled.
