Spektrum for 9 yrs and not one fault other than my own. Probably 20 antenna less Rx's and love them. That's one sexy bird and fly's wonderful even in the wind. Fantastic flight - The Geebee can also use a Turnigy nano tech 4S 4000 and 4S Graphene Panther 5000mah if you want as well for 10-minute flights. To keep your ESC cool you will want to cut out the plastic engine cover at the front where the wires go back, from the motor, into the fuselage. Otherwise, there is no airflow passing through the plane helping to keep the battery and ESC cool. Cooler components = longer flights. Change out the tires to Kavan balloon tires as previously suggested in your first video unboxing and you will no longer tip over on landings =)

Hi there! I have been following your channel for quite a while now. I'm 73 years old,, and while I'm now retired from doing almost everything because of my health, way back in my 30s I had the experience of being able to fly an old restored GB airplane. There are many different models of the GB airplane, and I don't remember which model I I don't remember I was flying. But what I do remember very clearly Is that the wings were a lot shorter in comparison to the model you're flying right now. So I would say that you're plane is not to scale. But who cares as long as we're having fun. And your plane looks SO sexy!

I have lots of those Antenna less RX's and only ever had one issue I sent it to Logic RC for checking and they replaced it for free 👌 perfect otherwise . As with all things electronic things can go wrong but very rarely with these. If I have not flown a plane for a while I always do a range check ✅ for my own peace of mind. Excellent redemption flight Robert 💪

I just flew at the beach in st augustine Florida, last year I had glitches in Virginia Beach area flying so I threw that rx out and put in spektrum antennaless rx..no glitches at all this time..very important cause the ocean will eat the plane qwick..lol..

That was really steady, and fast, despite that very un-aerodynamic huge cowl. And it slowed nicely too, quite a surprise. Im still wedded to hotliners but they are expensive, so perhaps i should expand my foam fleet. My recent FMS Fox 3m has done 22 flights in my hands and goodness knows how many with its previous owner, so i know that they do last. Scale racers like this were previously thought far too difficult to fly, but Dynam and you seem to make it look easy. Bravo.

Fun facts for u boys.GEE BEE stands for the Granvile Brothers.they were 2 brothers like u and blach and they built full size racing planes in Springfield USA.there GEE BEE model Z won the Thompson Trophy many times.its also one aircraft that is very dear to me.many years ago my late father built 2 quarter scale Gee Bee z models.one had an OS 108 2 stroke and the other had a twin 120 four stroke.my father actually contacted the Granvil Brothers sister who was very old at the time but still sent my father copies of original plans drawn by the Granvile Brothers.ill never forget it and I'll always have a place in my heart for the GEE BEE.
