Worst part is have to solo because not much time to join with other locals and No timer on these raids so you could actually use normal pokemon for them due to no rush to quickly win the beldum raids were weaker during testing as well but they buffed them making them take longer to beat just make sure your fast move is good against the raid boss or takes even longer lol.

Is it just me or do the pokemon people leave in the raid do nothing to help out because i was not able to leave a pokemon in the raid at the end because it was full and it was not any different than the beldum at my local park that no one did it before me.

I was able to it by myself, here's how I did it, Blastoise in the lead with Bite and Hidro Pump (I dont think the charge moves matther as much as the fast ones), Charizard with Fire spin and Ovberheat and Greedent with Bite and Crunch, all of them low Cp cap, the strategt is, use Blastoise and Greedent (tanking Beldum) to charge the Dynamax bar, one you are about to reach the dynamax form switch to Charizard so it can Dynamax and use his 3 powerfull max moves, once he is done dynamaxing switch back to either blastoise or greedent and repeat the tanking process, that way you will chip Beldum's hp till you defeat him, good luck Dynamaxers

My guesses on certain factors that make it easier/harder: - Beldum's stats needed to be taken into account, higher DEF because it's a Steel type. Consider other future Dynamax Pokemon's stats. - 3-star boss significantly increased stats while it is a Dynamax Boss. Imagine 5-Star evolved Starters, or LEGENDARIES in the future. - You'll surely need to evolve your Dynamax Pokemon, AND power them up as high as you can to max their stats. - Weakness strategies. - Go in full groups of 4 trainers in the lobby. But beldum doesn't have "super defense".. lvl 50 beldum has 123,5 def.... squirtle has similar def of 114,2... like.... yes its more than average starter pokemon but no... compared to actual tanks that is nothing... scyther is potentially one of near future max bosses (a bug in game indicates that) and it has monster stats compared to beldum: 155 defense but also nearly same attack stat as charizard! And we don't seem to be getting rock type attacker before this flying insect ruins our days to abuse its double-weakness :/ And scyther is more of fragile side pokemomn compared to other fully evolved ones or those that don't evolve at all! Future does look hard for solo

I maxed my charizard's max flare move and powered it up to level 40. I could take out the Beldum in a few minutes and only lost between 50% and 60% of my HP each solo battle in power stops that didn't have any supporters. Would like to try it with other people, but it can definitely be done solo.. just takes time.

1:58 You can select which pokemon is actually dynamaxed when they show up on the right hand side, so you could charge up on Blastoise, or some other tanky pokemon in the future, and then select your super effective pokemon once you've maxed out the charge meter.

I leveled a hundo dynamax Charizard to roughly 45 (didn't go to 50 because I needed the candy XL for the dynamax moves) and spent a little real world money on Max Particle packs to get the moves maxed asap as I was pretty excited I got the hundo hahaha. With Fire Spin, Blast Burn and Max Flare on Dynamax it still took like 4mins to solo Beldum 😅

Gosh yeah, I was gobsmacked with the toughness of soloing the Beldum. Did two attempts at different beldums, and took down the second beldum wiith a team of two 3 star Charmanders and my hundo Charizard; the hundo survived with 1 hp left, which honestly made the feeling of winning rather rewarding to me Definitely going to do some more preperation by getting candies and powering up moves to be prepared to solo it again in the future. Though I plan to avoid attempting another beldum uunless I'm wiith a buddy to help with my resource building :0

Nice video! Ms./Mrs. ZoëTwoDots, Beldum is easy if you evolve Charmanders with Dynamax to Charizards and give the Charizards fire attacks. Greedent with Dynamax and dark attacks also works well. First of all, i recommend using dynamax greedent, but it has to be a dark type move if u have that. The max move will be max darkness, same thing with dynamax skouvet. and charmander charmelon and charizard will be helpful. u can use one of those. And before u do the dynamax raid, check ur dynamax pokemon moves. And the way u use the max move is not right. U see the white outline circle Make sure it goes all around the max move because it will do more damage hope this helps

I soloed a Dynamax Beldum with just a powered up Dynamax Blastoise with Bite and Hydro Cannon! I had a couple of Charizard on the team just in case! The Fast was Dark so I used Max Darkness and Bite powered up Hydro Cannon quicker and it has really good defense against Iron Head! Still time consuming to defeat as a solo and didn’t get as much rewards as I wanted. Definitely recommend doing a T3 with friends to finish it quicker and to get more rewards.

My wife and i took down 3 beldum, the first one wiped her due to her having evolved none of her mons. I carried with a lvl 20 charizard with max 1 atk. So it really is very doable with even just 2 people or solo if you have decent zards/dubwools. Gonna have to save up some particles to max out the moves on my charizard (15/14/14) that I finally got last night

I figured the 3-stars were going to be akin to shadow raids in terms of difficulty = 1-star is a cakewalk, 3-star almost impossible to solo unless you're lucky enough to get one that has a double-weakness to an attack that you can spam hard and often.

I'm a little late to the party but as other commentors pointed out you can consistently solo Beldum with one charizard and 2 Greedents. Catch every single Skwovet you see for the candy, give it one healing max move and wham. All i did was evolve Charmander and the 2 Skwovets, made sure Charizard has 2 fire moves and the Greedents have 2 dark moves. Use Charizard in battle until about 60% health to chip Beldum down a LOT faster and then use the Greedents to tank until Charizard can pop back in for the Dynamax boost. Tedious? Yes. Easy? Hell yes.

I'm in the United States so have 7 hours before Beldum is available here. I have two 98% evolved Charizards and one 96%. I have the Max attack and level 2 Guard and Spirit on the first and the Max attack on the second 98% with level one Guard and Spirit on the second. All of them have fire moves on them and the First has Fire Spin, Overheat and Blast Burn on it. I have over 2200 Beldum Candy and over 300 xl candy so will be powering them up for sure. Will report back how quickly I can solo them. I plan to battle with my two 98% and a 2 Star or lower Charmander to leave in the gym after battles to earn more Charmander Candy to continue to power up the 98s. Oh, and I did power up my first 98% to 2882 CP and the second to 2223 CP. Fingers crossed they will be effective. Having watched you, I expect they will be even solo.

You wouldn't have struggled as much if you have given Blastoise the Fast move "Bite" which becomes Max Darkness which would do great damage to Beldum. PS: You did do a hell of a lot investment, for your Blastoise to be able to participate it needs to be "Dynamax" able and your s was Ultra League CP range. Blastoise is one of those Pokemon that just guzzles Candies and Stardust.

I powered up the charizard move for the research, with 2 players Beldum is still easy to do I think the dynamax meter scales of damage, with T1 battles i sometimes only had charmanders to fight charmander, since the rest was at spots, and then the meter charged very slow

I currently haven't done any Dynamax raid battles since I completed the Charmander line haven't even been collecting mp I do however have a 3 star appraisal Charizard that I'm working on maxing move wise so as much mp is needed to even enter the battle in the 1st place I might actually stop doing these raids because it's just going to keep taking more and more mp to even enter battles I mean we are already at it taken 400 per 3 star so unless you buy mp from the in game shop or the web store you will only be able to do 2 and trying to solo them is going to take a ton of time unless people leave pokemon at the power spots not sure I even want to try and I was actually kinda liking this feature seems like everything I like or starting to like isn't going to work or even be something I do

I got absolutely walled at my first attempt with a charmeleon and 2 charmanders none powered up. Eventually evolved my 2 better Charmanders to Charizard, powered them both up as much as I could till I needed XL candies gave them both level 1 max flare. rematched and my first Charizard done the whole battle just by itself no switching, no help. Stil took about 4 - 5 minutes though

Remember people, your Max Move is your quick attack. Flare for Char, and use Bite on Blas for Max Darkness. You won’t get Stab, but Darkness is still super effective.

Im rural! Like super rural! So ive only got 10 dynamax mons. And i powered up alot of their moves based on how much energy i could earn per day. 800/ 900, use it or lose it. Candy not an issue. So i powered up moves in anticipation. Ill let ya know when, if, i get the chance to go to a den and get a beldum. Not powerimg up any levels, but investing in evolutions and dynamax moves. Charizards atk stat higher, so im assuming good.

Man this 1 star pikachu raid is really hard, I used 3 magikarp with 35cp. I mean me and my gf duoed a bunch and many people have soloed it.
