I have this book! It's an amazing continuation/expansion on the knowledge and tools that drawabox gives. Is there a Vol. II? :D

Just a heads up in case you didn't know, drawabox built their course around peter hans dynamic sketching course. Peter Han is the originator of this methodology, the creator of drawabox studied under him.

@@BeckBishopStudio Drawabox imo is a colossal waste of time and isn't near the same quality as Peter Han's Dynamic Bible.

@@Antifrustrated Thanks! Good to know. I'll hop straight into Han's book then. :)

@@moomoocowsly I might recommend you look more into Peter Han and his work before you make that conclusion. He was a very close friend of Kim jung gi who he worked along side and is also part of the Superani collective. His method for this type of drawing isn't to make a 'pretty' piece of art but instead its meant for concept sketching to deconstruct and understand form and structure separately from detail. His methods help one to remember how to draw objects from any angle from memory after one has properly deconstructed something in to its base forms. Every single dynamic sketching course you see online now is a direct off shoot of his methods which he has been working on for decades. I do agree that the book itself is not as useful as it could be (I own it.) or as useful as the courses and isn't detailed enough in the explanations, I think that is on purpose as he also teaches courses and this book does not the method justice.

@@moomoocowsly If you don't like them don't buy them. I personally prefer to support artists I appreciate by buying their books and courses as I am able to afford it. No need to get all huffy about it. Artists are self employed and have a right to grow their business by making products and courses. We all have people we like and prefer to learn from as someone may present it in a slightly different way that makes more sense to us. Most content is derivative in some form. Thanks for the interesting info on who Peter studied under.

Any plans for a new print of the book, it is sold out in Europe? 😥

This one seems very different to the one I got, mine ends with assault rifles and cloth, and it's only 59 pages long I think, is this another edition? how many pages of content? hope it's longer than the previous one as this is a subject that requires a lot of mileage.
