Thank you for your tutorial! Is it possible to use it for character's tail? Any suggestion how to make tail with physic in MB?
@tritochke2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't know tbh, some time ago i've stopped using MB, just didn't have any more use for the tool, I'm sorry I cannot help you further. This video was just me testing out something in theory, but from the practical point I don't think this approach wouldbe very reliable in the long run. Lots of issues with rotation and really weird twisting etc. Good luck with your work, have fun with MB, its really powerful tool.

@@tritochke Thanks for the answer! What kind of soft do you use now?
@tritochke2 жыл бұрын
@@ArtKatarina I have no need for mocap anymore at this time and If I'm animating then I'd use Blender or Akeytsu for everything. Blender is more confusing to use , def but threre are tons of cool addons for it to speed up your worlflow or to make it easier. Dynamics are also more easily calculated in Blender, and of course if you do need mocap data you can work with it in Blender as well.

@@tritochke Oh, I have never head about Akeytsu, something new for me. Is it easy in learning and using soft? What do you think about Maya? Did you ever use it?
@tritochke2 жыл бұрын
@@ArtKatarina Akeystu is really easy to use, it does come with some poewrful tools for easy rig setups and I'm not sure but I think it's free atm, so def research it more if you have some time. I've used Maya before, Maya is all right in certain aspects, navigation in Maya is decent and you can of course customise it if you know how. I'd def recommend Blender more, it's free and it has a huge community that is growing all the time so youi can really find some cool and cheap addons and extra tools for your work. Its just better time investment in the long run.

Man, thank you very much for this video tutorial !! I was looking for something similar. Finally, a find example !! Honestly, thank you very much !! All the best to you!
@tritochke8 жыл бұрын
sure man, its far from perfect and it still needs some tweaking but I think it's a good start. If you are looking for a scripted plugin then I would recommend this one here ( 3danim-and-program.blogspot.hr/2011/09/ikhandle.html ) it's probably everything you ever needed when it comes to dynamics. All best !

@@Ortastal do you have it by any chance?
@Ortastal Жыл бұрын
@@denisbesfamilov5860 Unfortunately no :С. Couldn't buy it back then for some reason. But, but I managed to create something similar. Not a plugin, but manually.

Sucede que tengo pelo con huesos y le agregué esa física, pero tanto los huesos como la malla capilar caen al suelo. ¿tienes alguna solución para mí?

Hi, is it working with a mesh applied? I have weird results as the mesh follows only Rotation of the bones. So, with Position Constraint only the bones are moving correctly, but the mesh doesn't. I tried several things, but nothing worked. Help! :)
@tritochke8 жыл бұрын
+Shrike025 Hi Shrike! It works better if you apply parent constraint rather then position but I used position constraint just as a test. I am still developing this technique and learning along the way, so, yea, maybe try parent and see if that does it for you

+T R I T O C H K E I found that using Rotation Constraint to the next Sphere works quite well (so for example bone001 to sphere002). Great video, by the way, it helped me a lot :)

I feel like this could be very "jiggly" for clothing etc so.. Maybe include a relation constraint, for damping, and then a box/UI slider connected to the constraint, to keyframe and change the level of damping for even more control depending on what works best for the moment? You could even add two sliders, one for rotation and the other for translation! :D This technique might also work for hair with a bunch of damping and the charactermesh set as a live surface/collision/whatever it's called XD How's this technique you have going so far? I'm really curious if you added something else to it! :O

that's not a correct tutorial, because wrong placement Null objects for many correct joints
