4:17 i've been repeating this part a million times and I still can't figure out what the robot voice says. Press what on windows? alt and f? that doesn't do anything. I know how to copy and paste but I don't know what commands are used here and can't proceed. Would be nice to have subtitles or something to figure out the robot voice.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! So useful. I was curious is there a way to do the same thing but to be able in the end result to color the whole "row"? So we would have not only colorful lines but actual striped of color that compose the wave and the background wouldn't be visible.

actually this 3d effect is just an illusion, not really a 3d object or something else. maybe you can do it with a grid but you will get a different illusion.

if you can't expand an object that means the object has an effect, so you must first do "expand appearance" (under the expand) and then "expand".

if everything moves, that means all anchor points are selected, while the direct selection tool is still active, try to unselect everything first then select the anchor point that you want carefully.

Do you still have the white colour turned on for your fill on your lines? Maybe check that. White box with a red cross through for the fill and then solid white colour for the stroke.

I'm not quite get why the gradient mesh tool is capable of distorting the effected line(s). I would think that gradient mesh is for a totally different purpose. It's a bit confusing.
