Dear Prof. FG-Longatt, Thank you very much for this beautiful presentation. I can see how you are fond of PF. What is the main numerical integration used in PF? Are DSL calculations performed simultaneously with PF solver or there is a one-time step delay between DSL and PF?

I do not think the integration technique is publically available...it must be a commercial secret. The solution method can use fixed or variable step, and those methods based on variable steps are not for kids :-). Tes... DSL equations are translated into the internal systems of PF. You must be aware that we are using .dll now in powerfactory and that speed up the simulations... Best regards. Where are you writing from?

Thank you so much Professor! One basic question I have is this: DPL is used to do totally different things from DSL? Or I could code in DPL (giving I have this module in my license) the same things and devices behaviors, that I usually programm in DSL? Sorry, I haven't found a simple explanation of why do I use one or other language, and the fundamental differences I must consider, in regard of what I want, or what are my objectives.... Not sure if my question was all clear, sorry
