Can you help, when I changed the data source and applied query changes at 14:18 the report displays no data (blank). Do you have any idea what the issue might be?

This can be an issue with the datasource. Does the automatic refresh work?

@@ERPCoder No. I think what's happening is that AxDW is empty and has no data. I assumed there should be demo data inside it, is that not the case?

@@SYG4M3R You have to start the population of by hand, go to Administration > Setup > Entity Store . There you can start the refresh manually and setup a periodic refresh e.g. once a day or every hour . This may take a while

Thank you, Markus! Could you advise - how many Power BI Pro licensies is needed if (for example) 20 Dynamics users want to view PowerBI report?

Hi Markus, thanks for the excellent Walktrough. The only thing that I dont fully understand its how you set the automatic refresh for the data for the reports. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The embedded PowerBI reports use direct query on the AxDW, not import mode. Refresh is done by the jobs in D365 that populate the AxDW database.

I've followed the steps, however when I open the templates on power bi desktop I get an error that "the keys didn't match any rows in the table"
