Sir, one query please ...In pure circular motion is it a condition that net acceleration is perpendicular to tangential velocity? We have two accelerations tangential and radial , so object will go in the direction of net acceleration ? please advice... thank you very much ...

No, net acc is not perpendicular to velocity. Tangential acceleration is in the direction of velocity. Normal acceleration is perpendicular to velocity. I don’t think net acceleration tells you very much. The object would not go in the direction of net acceleration, the velocity would “change” in that direction.

@@engineeringdeciphered thank you Sir. But i studied that object will move in the direction of net force or net acceleration on it.. net force will guide net acceleration direction. So if i apply this on circular motion examples i am trying to understand how path of object will change as we apply different forces tangential as well as radial. How to understand that.. advice please.

@@shailkumarjain the object won’t “move” in the direction of net force, it will “change velocity” in the direction of net force. So if it already has velocity, a force won’t cause it to move that direction, but it begins to change velocity toward that direction. Technically it changes “momentum” in the direction of net force.
