It always amazes me how colorful Treasure games are. The Genesis could only display 64 colors on screen at once. But you'd never know it by looking at a game like Dynamite Heddy.

My one protest about this review is that I don't think the main character is actually called "Dynamite" by anyone in game. It's always "Headdy". Still great that people are still discovering this game because it's a real gem by Treasure!

The JP version also has more of a story (which has been fan translated), a lot of dialogue was removed in the western releases. This game has some of the cleanest voice samples in a MD game.

+MrlonJustice Probably because so many of the stories included elements of Japanese culture that localizers thought us Americans would be too stupid to understand. It's sad but true. Trouble Shooter also on the Genesis was heavily censored and we didn't even get it's fantastic sequel because the bosses and story was just TOO weird. Magical Doropie on the NES is probably the worst example I've ever seen. The game actually has a great story for an NES game but when it was brought to the west as The Krion Conquest they removed every single cutscene except for the first one, and changed all the characters to remove the ones that look like anime girls
