In 2019, Canadian National O-18-a 0-6-0 No. 7470 returned to service on the Conway Scenic Railroad after undergoing a lengthy rebuild. The beloved engine's return was celebrated with two excursions through Crawford Notch, a rare trip for the steam locomotive to make on the former Maine Central trackage. Both trips are featured in this video, along with a photo freight operated for the railroad's railfan weekend. The 7470 puts on a grand show as it operates both as an all-day excursion engine and recreating its days as a switcher.
