I know what you mean, after watching a bunch of tournament videos you'll get a feel for it though (plus you'll learn all the slang and definitions in time.) The commentary for paintball is often very chaotic and fast paced and reflects the game itself.

I would like to know this as well, I assume that the weight can play into it, less weight faster you can move with it and the less fatigue on your arms when holding it up for a long period of time.

i love paintball, but it loses the tactics once it goes professional. everyone has these crazy high performance guns and tons of ammo to spare. are there games where you have what your hopper can hold and thats it?

I was introduced to paintball a couple months ago, this is not boring. If you really want it to be more enjoyable, figure out all the players and know the tactics. Makes it much more enjoyable. You cant marker/drawing of whats happening when they are commenting in real time. If you really want to watch paintball, learn what there are trying to do and the field layout and know whats going on.

aminnasa2002 paintball and airsoft are awsome people usally go to airsoft after paintball but i do perfer paintball its awsome there both awsome and you got to have alot of brains to play you got to know were to run next

airsoft is not weak, the guns are actually stronger then paintball guns. while the paintball guns only go to about 300fps, but the airsoft guns..they are about 400-500FPS. btw does paintball have a mini gun?

There honestly isn't any need for them. There are 2 types of paintball, there is Scenario/MilSim play, which is what you are asking about, and then there is Air Ball. What you are watching here is an air Ball/Speed Ball Tournament hosted by the PSP.

Just go to your local field, rent some gear, and play some rec ball. These guys are pros and are really serious. The guys at your local field will be a lot more relaxed.

yes, it is a very expensive sport. Depending on yoru play style. Air ball is much more expensive than woodsball though.

I can't tell whos winning.. I know why this was removed from TV. They should make half the field a differnet color so I can tell which side is which when they change camera angles. Maybe put little headers over the players heads so we know.

Paintball has been around much longer than airsoft, airsofters are switching to paintball too. My friend sold most of his airsoft gear because we have no airsoft fields. I don't see paintballers with thousands of $ in gear switching to airsoft anywhere, do you?

I don't get how paintball is more of an adrenaline rush than airsoft, in airsoft the bbs are way harder to see and are flying much faster 350 - 450 fps. I know what people mean by paintball being more of a rush than airsoft. but ive played airsoft before at a much faster pase than paintbal, and ive played paintball at very high pase before to. I belive it could go either way by the way this video is awesome

i will agree that airsoft is cheaper but paintball is so much more fun. i will agree that airsoft looks more realistic or "cool" but paintball will always be more fun in my opinion. i used to play airsoft religiously but now i only play paintball. the extra cost is well worth the experience

they watch snake most of the time because it is one of the key positions in the game. If you constantly control snake you will most likely win everytime unless u are completely outgunned. And yeah, aim is kinda brutal, but only cuz paintball is moreso reliant on positioning on the field and reflexes, not so much shooting as people might think.

It pisses me off when people argue over whether Paintball or Airsoft is better. They're two completely different games. Its like comparing apples to bananas. I happen to be a fan of both :)

lets be real here folks. Paintball= sport/rec.(speedball/woodsball) airsoft=recreational hobby milsim=recreational hobby Portray paintball for what it is. Refer to them as paintball markers not guns. paintball markers are tools made for the purpose of tagging an opponent like a golf club is for driving a golf ball down the fairway. Also, be a good representative for your sport, Don't swear excessivly, don't scare new players from wanting to come back and show how much fun our awesome game is.

From a Noob point of view its hard to sit and watch a full match do to the fact I really have no idea who is who and what is going on.. maybe having Marker/drawings of what you are saying. Showing what they are trying to do if you understand what im saying lol :/ kinda like in Pool same kind of idea. imo Would make it a lot more enjoyable to watch. keep up the good work tho!
