the music of this fucking stage will never leave me. simply because i had to bear it without thinking 100's of times having to ONLY PLAY AS THE COMMANDER AND SOLO'ING EVERYTHING. i was so scared as a kid seeing no blue on the field.

The freaking "weather morale drop" is the reason this stage is so hard

This stage is easy. I know a better way than this video. You can clear this stage without losing any of your ally officers; just lower Meng Hou's morale down to zero. Only his troops are mobile and a threat to your allies. Don't kill Meng Hou when you see him; for the third time after he responds in the jungle near the middle area of the map, you will want to keep him alive because if you kill him, his morale won't drop when you kill his sub-officers and troops. Keep him alive and kill off his two sub-officers nearby first, then kill off his troops until he's down to a minimum of 2 morale, or zero will be even better because once his morale is zero, his troops won't be a threat to any of your allies, even if your whole team doesn't have any morale. Then after that's done, kill him and go kill Zhu Zong and kill off all his other officers as quickly as possible. Don't even bother killing and sealing his gate guards because they will keep responding every time Meng Huo responds, but don't enter his castle until you've defeated him for the 6th time. Every time Meng Huo responds, he will gain around 2 morale, which won't take long to get back to zero if you follow this. Don't worry about the climate lowering your morale; it won't do you harm. After Meng Huo makes his last response at his castle, you can now seal and kill off all his gate captains. They won't respond anymore, and your whole allies officers will be farming off his troops, and your whole team will gain morale faster than the climate dropping it. I managed to get my whole team to max morale on this stage a few times lol. Easy peasy; you just need to understand the mechanics of this stage. Once you learn that, it's easy. Hope that helps lol.

Wow!!! You made this stage look so easy. During the Shu story mode, it's near impossible to beat. Took me 41 minutes after 5 tries!!! 😅😅😅
