Characters have their original weapons only, but you can power them up throughout the game. They never change in appearance though. DW4 Yi Ling is my favorite track. I never get tired of it. =)

Haha man did i love dynasty warriors, was introduced to it when i was about 4, so almost 10 years ago :P I ordered this and it's coming next Wednesday! Wow, I can't wait... Please tell me they still have the Mad Mousou thingy?

@DraughtHaze It all depends on what you prefer. I found it a lot more fun to earn money and build up weapons to my liking than to constantly farm and maybe... just maybe... get a decent weapon or horse by the end of a level. The marriage/oath system ended up winning my interest over for... obvious reasons, heh. >_> If you want more details, you can try perusing the Koei Warriors forums. They have additional detailed info to offer. =)

@IamSylvaster2 IMO, they're pretty good and I find them quite similar to the original DW6.graphics. It's a shame KZbin keeps killing the highest quality on my vids, otherwise you'd be able to see them in true form.

@popman638isthebest I've never played Ninety Nine Nights, so I can't make a comparison. What I can tell you though is there aren't necessarily 'large scale' battles in the game unless you choose to take over one of the larger maps or you are going up against an enemy force with mediocre troop numbers.

@DraughtHaze Zhao Yun just exudes that natural coolness factor that often overshadows a lot of the other officers . ;) Not only that, but DW6E dominates over DW6 with weapon/officer customization and it's (mostly) non-linear. I haven't played my regular DW6 since I got Empires.

I always use Zhao Yun because he has good voice(in Warriors Orochi 2) and his moves are awesome! He is the best!

Unfortunately, you cannot summon troops during battle. There's a chance of reinforcements arriving if you have an Alliance card though.

@DraughtHaze I wasn't aware DW:SF had online capabilities. The online DW I was referring to is a future release. You can check out the Koei Warriors site for more info about it if you're interested.. =)

@17jun1989 The little gameplay I sampled from the SF demo felt foreign to me and yeah... the DBZ essence they injected into it just didn't appeal to me all that much. I guess I'm just a little old fashioned. =P Gameplay in DW6:E can be a little stiff, but I found combat more enjoyable than it was in DW6.
