Xiahou Ba's battle is, of course, with him being on Shu's side. It's sort of interesting in that you're mostly trying to escape the obvious trap and just make it out the castle. I'll say I'd have liked the CG at the end better if Xiahou Ba wasn't rescued by Jiang Wei and it implied he died there. Not because I dislike Xiahou Ba mind you, it'd just be a much better fit.

It's such a shame Xiahou Ba didn't get a death scene in DW9. The Shu story abruptly forgets about him after the Battle of Taoyang, and literally no one mentions his fate afterwards.

One can't help but notice that, despite being categorized as a Jin character, all of Ba's battles and playable appearances in DW7 have him on the Shu side. Jin's hypothetical route in DW8 alleviated the problem a bit, but he still feels more like a Shu character then a Jin character.

Yeah, I think it's been pointed out that most of Jin as a faction in this game is not actually Jin and just the later Wei empire, plus with some mix in to fill out the roster, like Zhuge Dan.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make, Supreme Captain. What I was saying was that Xiahou Ba barely feels like he belongs in the group he's categorized in in DW, because he spends most of his time with Shu. How does pointing out that the Jin faction aren't really the Jin Dynasty, just some people who were important shortly before the Jin Dynasty was founded by Sima Yan, relate?

Your point, XIahou Ba doesn't feel like he belongs in Jin. My point, everyone in Jin, doesn't feel like they belong in Jin, since those you play as are in Wei. It is not hard to discern that Xiahou Ba isn't the only person who feels like this.

its Pronounce Liu Shan real name Liu Chan and it wasn't because of the Emperor Shu it because of the corruptions that led into Chaos and betrayal the Eunechs Corruptions that led to the Yellow turban Rebellion lead by Zhang Jue or in dynasty warrior games called Zhang Jiao Warning its Long if you dont like to read after that Dong Zhuo usurp the power of the Han dynasty and Corrupt even more being a tyrant he is every lords, warlords, and governers came together on a alliance to take down Dong Zhuo many years later Battle of Fan Castle it determined the fate of Shu, Wu, and Wei the battle will changes dratically because the death of Guan Yu, Guan Yu been Veteran and Sworn brothers to Zhang Fei and Liu Bei They swore to die in the same years, Month and the same day the same time it maybe a myth but i think it really happened in my Opinion. it led to battles between Wu and Shu they were ally but because of Lu Meng of Wu killed Guan Yu it led to the battle of Yilling 700.000 Shu army advancing towards the Wu but failed of an Fire attack and after years and Years of Fighting Constant an Officer Wei Defected to Shu name Jiang Wei hes a great War general and very smart but lacks understanding of the low supply. he made 9 or 12 attempt on advancing to Wei failed everytime. Liu Shan was Stupid but if Jiang Wei just resupply and Prepared they would win the war and if just The Wu were Co-Operate with the Shu they would win the war easly you gotta research or read the novel of the Romance of the Three Kingdom or you can watch oversimplified for more shorter histories
