I was very sad to see Guan Ping's expression. honestly I'm really sad. I thought Guan Ping and Xing Cai were in love. but my guess is wrong. it turns out that xing cai fell in love with liu shan. Guanping's heart was so broken it was like he was having an affair with another man

Not really, Guan Ping never actually met her anyway outside DW as he stayed in Jing after it was conquered while she, and her siblings(One of which was merged into her for her DW version), grew up in Yi and eventually married Liu Shan. Besides, maybe she likes being with a guy she can protect and she knows wont be foolishly running into battle like Guan Ping? That and Liu Shan is rich, Guan Ping wears rags while Liu Shan has the pimp coat. Xing Ci chose well.

@sonicblaze24 It's pretty much because of Liu Shan finally being a playable character in the game. See, it's pretty much like how Zhen Ji and Cao Ren's relationship was, till Cao Pi, her husband, entered the DW series as a playable character. Xing Cai was based on Liu Shan's first wife. Not to mention, Guan Ping doesn't even live long enough to see Liu Shan being crowned emperor of Shu anyway.

That's just Koei at work. in History and the Novel neither Zhang Fei daughter cared for Guan Ping. Koei only made it hinted in the earlier games because Liu Shan wasn't in it. After Liu Shan was added it was turned to Guan Ping liking Xingcai but Xingcai no longer caring for him as her husband was now in the game.

Not true. DW2-6 remained at Wu Zhang Plains/Yi Ling/He Fei. DW7 is the first time they've advanced the story so dramatically with Jin that goes up to the Fall of Shu which was never shown in the other DW games until DW7. They still also have the Fall of Wu to cover as well which they're most likely saving for a later game as Wu's roster catches up to the Late Era.

Actually he wasn't. He simply didn't see the point in fighting a losing war anymore. Jiang Wei was the real bonehead as he wasted Shu's resources, ruined Yi's land, costs tens of thousands of Shu lives, and had nothing to show for it. Sure Liu Shan was dumb for trusting a crazy guy that only told him what he wanted to her but he was at least smart enough to surrender Shu, and spare more lost life. Hell when Jiang Wei rebelled after Shu fell no one helped him and Zhong Hui.

im a Xing Cai fan ever since i first saw her in 5. but i only play 4 and orochi. first time i heard her voice i was like.... what? so soft and feminine! i think to myself nahh it dont sound like her. her apearence look mean and sexy.... her voice should sound more meaner. now in 7 she all grown up... look more mature.... it make sense that her voice sound more tough..... but too tough! it dont go with her apearence.
