I put this lift on my 4 door JLU back in December, I also put 35's on it, have taken the Jeep on a lot of trails since and this lift has stood up to the test. Still rides great.

Wondering if you have an update of how you like the lift and how it has held up for you? Looking at this one for my 21 Willys 4dr and very curious. Great video!

Nice shout out to TrailRecon. You should post a link to the video you referenced. Are you still in factory warranty, and does this lift affect the warranty?
@drivenmad20893 жыл бұрын
That’s a good idea! And I’m out of bumper to bumper warranty but since this technically isn’t the Mopar lift this would probably void that. Thanks for watching!

Dang the front is too high for sure. Bummer about the stiff ride. Wayalife jeep KZbin gave the lift a great review but it was on a 4 door and he only got 1.8" of lift. Do you think a 90lb winch will lower the front end some and smooth it out? I wanted this lift for a 2 door rubicon with 35"s but now I'm on the fence. I'm sure it will be better offroad with added flex than stock.
@drivenmad20893 жыл бұрын
It’s gotten better over time. Seems like it needed to settle in some. It’s definitely better than the day I picked it up. Now compared to the Mopar lift it feels smoother. Been in a couple of Jeeps with those and they were stiffer. I think having a winch on the front and a nice rear steel bumper and tire carrier like from AEV would help smooth the ride out even more for sure. But now I definitely want some 37’s 😂. Thanks for watching man

Looks great. Curious if you carry any extra weight. I see you have a hitch, could you find a trailer and see if the ass end sags at all?

Hi I just bought the 2 inch lift and I have a 2021 2 door rubicon on 33’s. I haven’t installed yet, I plan on keeping the 33 bfg at also have metal bumpers winch and will have full skids My question is: Since I’m keeping my 33’s and all the weed that I have, would you say I’m going to get at least 2 1/2 inches of lift if not two and three-quarter inches I bought half inch coil spacers for the front because of the extra weight of the bumpers, and Winch, would you not put the spacers in the front I was just thinking that may be the lift would be 2 1/2 inches at the most, and then add the spacer of a half inch, which would be 3 inches in the front and with all that weight in the front, it would probably level off at 2 1/2 inches or maybe 2 1/4 inches what are your thoughts and a half inch spacers or not thanks
@drivenmad2089 Жыл бұрын
honestly I think you ll be fine without the spacers. since this lift is designed to work with the 4 door jl as well which is heavier, even with the added weight of the winch and skid plates you should have around 2.5 inches of lift. mine was a little higher than that if I remember correctly. Thanks for watching!

@@drivenmad2089 I am wondering why you guys are doing the 2" Mopar Lift. I just bought a 2021 JL 4 door rubicon stick shift and got a 7 year warranty that I do not want to jeopardize.
@LarryRichelli3 жыл бұрын
I was hoping you would talk about 6 gear with 35's. I also have a stick shift in my JL and am concerned with the 35's being too big for the stock rubicon gearing.
@drivenmad20893 жыл бұрын
I actually talked about that in another video talking about if/when should I re gear. Just adding 35 inch tires on stock wheels. I wouldn’t even worry about it. Did that and all I noticed was the ride got better. Adding heavier wheels after the 35’s is where I started to notice a difference in power and acceleration

I have the same setup but with my warn winch ( 110 ibs ) the front is about 2 1/4 higher then stock. Im thinking about going 37s also. I just heard for the new ford raptor bfg is making a 37 k02 that is load range c that only weighs 68 ibs. I heard july 1st is when its available.

That’ll be interesting to see. Either way I’d still want to re gear but I’d be interested in it for sure. Thanks for watching!

As far as I know, Dynatrac does not have a suspension lift kit for the 2 door JL, only the JL Unlimited. That is probably why yours sits much higher than 2". "This Dynatrac EnduroSport suspension lift kit has not been tested on, and is not recommended for use on 2-door Jeep Wranglers, or any models with powertrain other than the 3.6L V-6 gasoline engines. This package does not fit with Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 or 4xe models."

@@drivenmad2089 I did hells revenge a few times now its awsome. Its a good combination of fun but interesting enough to keep ur attention without being to hard. Top of the world is amazing id recomend it for sure it was a little rough coming down tho. In a 2 door i was a little more nervous then my old 4 door but had no issues. I did scrape my bumper a few times and bent a control arm bracket just a tiny bit.

@@drivenmad2089 My 21 Rubicon is stock still. I’ve done some really rough trails but I’m afraid to ruin the on road drivability. I don’t want a big Jeep that is slow, handles shitty and burns thru gas. To each his own I guess...
@drivenmad20893 жыл бұрын
@@DUNEATV trust me man I totally understand. I was worried about that too. Hence why my Jeep was stock for about 2 years. When I added just the 35’s the ride was actually better than stock. If you have an auto it’ll handle the larger tires better since it has 2 extra gear ratios to help out. The gearing on the 6 speed is kinda wack. 5th and 6th are way to close. I’m happy with my suspension. It just took a little bit to settle in. And when it’s loaded with gear it rode awesome!
