Listening through my headphones I noticed that the HS had faster, more tight bass and the guitars sounded sharper. For heavy metal, they sounded better than the C1, in my opinion.

I actually considered the Confidence C2 on the second hand market (not the C1 you got) before i got my Heritage Specials. Like to know how these compare. I allready had a comment saying the C2 is better then the HS. But better in what respect? Does he ment really better or just being the C2 a bigger speaker that fills the room more?

The Confidence 2 has the esotar tweeters and the build of cabinet and crossover are exceptional. Its a whole level up in the build quality of the Confidence series. Personally I believe the series you have are better than their latest version which are too brighter imo.

The C1 sounds better, i Thinks. But it sounds all not great.

Nope! Overhyped speakers in my opinion! I prefer my Epos ES14!
