C McCav see here, peak power is peak if you have computers or not. Computers improve drivability everywhere else, plus the guy was running pretty heavy nitrous.

Eventually for one of these events those dyno guys will figure out how to hook up exhaust evacuation hoses ported to the outside of the building. Not yet, but soon. OR the competitors will figure out how to tune.

So Gale Banks the worlds leading diesel tuner, expert on turbo, supercharging and diesel drag racing says a well tuned high power diesel doesn't blow black smoke, he says that is a symptom of an badly tuned engine. What is going on? Why is are all the these engines so polluting?

you make no sense its not a drag strip where weight affects its 1/4 mile time its a dyno where weight and size have no affect and in some cases help if you have traction issues like you saw in other instances in the video

How new of a truck can somebody run in this competition? The 2017 Ford 6.7 makes 925 lb-ft tq from the factory. So its not far from some of these numbers already. Granted, the hp numbers on the stock motor are far from what these guys are making.

Just wondering how some of these trucks even think they can compete? I mean props for trying but showing up with a single turbo, really? Hoping for 700 hp? Take a look at Lavon. You need an overbuilt, dead-reliable setup that can be pushed to the limits every time. That's how you win. Chevy with 500 hp on the dyno? Basically plug in a tuner and show up, you're ready to be crowned lol I think it's too much trying vote in the worst and hoping your favourite brand wins. Bunch of chickens. Pick the best of the best in all 3 brands, thrash them, and may the best one win. Which would usually be cummins. Lavon proved that here and in UCC. I mean, how the heck did Buck Stoneberger even get in last year????
