Why all the secret hush hush on your Dyno numbers ? What difference does it make if your competitors know your horsepower numbers? If you can't hook it up to it doesn't matter if you have a 1000 horsepower. You want to put out racing videos, why not include you engine specs? Why would Bo get mad if you showed something in the shop? Everybody has the same stuff. I dont understand why everyone thinks they have to be so hush hush.

I hope some of the guys I race against me and my buddy basically have the same and one other guy that runs the same track we do our engine builder called them the triplets I seen cars with less horsepower beat them big motors car set-up and driver makes a big difference it ain't all horsepower

In general, the people who have studied vehicle dynamics will help others. The people who don’t either won’t or will be overly helpful. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. There’s enough misinformation as it is. It’s been a long time since HP has won a feature race on dirt. In this class especially I’ll take the 200 lb break over 80 hp.

We are well aware that those numbers don’t matter at all unless you can put the power to the ground. We know that folks can’t determine what is in an engine based on dyno numbers. With that being said, this is a sponsored motor. We aren’t going to put anyone’s info out for the world to see without their consent. Have we asked them to put numbers out? No. Have they said it’s ok to do that? No. So it’s not a hush hush secretive thing necessarily, it’s more of a respect thing for the engine builder. However, sounds like we got a cool idea for a video in the future! Maybe a Crystal club insider video where the old men discuss the numbers on the dyno so the average viewer could gain some knowledge from them!

@@ThemMinorBoys if you would have said you would have liked to let all your readers know what you are working with, but the engine builder doesn't want the numbers published, then it would at least had a reason. Like I said in OP, if you can't hook it up it doesn't matter if you have 1000 hp. Back in the day we would even pull a plug wire when the track got dry slick. It just baffles me how you put whole life on display and then want to be hush hush when it comes to content that readers would find interesting. Plus, with probably over half of your subscribers being current or retired racers, we might be able to offer a ton of information and suggestions. Love you both. Don't be mad.
