For 30 years I raced and the calls the leader jumps a restart is and always been bs. Leader sets the pace , not supposed to wait for the rest of the field to get ready smfh. Cars looking better too

It happens bro, I hit wall under caution in my first year racing street stocks, reminded me of it when you hit the wall during qualifying lol. I raced ministocks mustangs for years and then built a street stock. We run on 8" hoosiers, and it has taken me some time to get used to the lack of grip these cars have vs my mustangs. Under caution in about my 5th race or so in this street stock, I was on inside pole for feature. While we were doing our 2 pace laps before taking the green, I was turning back and forth scuffing my tires and I gave it a little to spin tires to get a little heat in them (was running hard tire on RR, track was really slick that night), I hit throttle and it jacked too far sideways on me and I almost spun it out, and I ended up dooring it into the wall with driver side lol. Felt like a fucking idiot!!!

Way 2 much gear these big ass tracks need Mile and hr. Your car screaming going by and your the slowest car out there the front are just VRrroOooMmmm. Going by nice and IN the power Band not PAST the power band
