Does PV 4 allow you to adjust rev limiter and idle RPM?
@sendittonam20 күн бұрын
Not from the app by from the power core software that you can download from Dynojet Website. There’s KZbin Video of how to use the software.

When you autotune with the pv4 after session one you just want to apply and keep doing more sessions with the ve table that comes up in the 2nd or 3rd session show the previous table to work from or does it start all new again. This is the thing i hated on the v&h fp3 each session started with blank cells and was like starting all over again. Thanks

When recording data for VE it uses the values in the base map you are currently running. When you record and save to a new cal those values are applied to each iterative session. Each "new cal" must be saved and flashed into the ecm. This process is the same with any flash tuner.

When is this going to be available for Android users?
@DynojetResearch3 ай бұрын
@@droppinlowz Soon, hoping for mid-October-November. There's a good bit of cleanup and re-architecting to do on the code, so it takes a bit to get things ready to add AT support, but we're really prioritizing stability and ease of use (quality) over speed - no half-baked product releases! There is an internal Android test build running around that our HD calibrator has been testing on with good results, so we're not too far out!

Do you need to run the bike with the PV4 connected for the autotune to read the bike and self adjust?
@andrewwatt87263 ай бұрын
Yes
@DynojetResearchАй бұрын
No, you don’t need to run the bike with the Power Vision 4 (PV4) physically connected for AutoTune to read and self-adjust. Once you’ve enabled AutoTune and flashed the map to the bike’s ECU, the adjustments are made directly by the ECU using the enabled AutoTune feature. The PV4 is used to set up and manage AutoTune, but the ECU handles the self-adjustments on its own while you ride. If you want to review or refine the AutoTune adjustments later, you’ll reconnect the PV4 to download the updated data and make any manual changes as needed. Autotune is all post-processed, the key difference to the real-time nature of Target Tune.

What happens when you increase the detection sensitivity and the smoothening strength and erase the red blocks then flash the bike?
@karolputz70972 ай бұрын
@DynojetResearch we would like to know the answer for this question, thanks
@DynojetResearchАй бұрын
If you increase detection sensitivity and smoothening strength, then erase the red blocks and flash the bike, here's what happens: Sensitivity makes the ECU more responsive to data changes, while smoothening creates smoother transitions for rideability. Erasing the red blocks resets AutoTune’s adjustments in those areas, so the bike uses base values instead of the refined ones AutoTune suggested. This can make the ride smoother but might lose some precision in performance, especially in areas where tuning adjustments were critical.

How can i have the PV4 connected and my Jekyll and Hyde exhaust which also is connected to my red euro 5 diagnostic clip? Are you going to produce a y-adapter as a solution which I can buy directly from your shop? Or maybe a shop in the EU/Germany? Thanks in advance. Btw great video! Am very happy about the new features! Thank you so much, you’re awesome

im getting more and more confused as to which set up I need (as I watch more of these videos on powervision tuners) . I keep reading about Target tune and Auto Tune....what differences are they? I need a tuner for my 2019 Road Glide Special. I want the ability to have the screen mounted on the bars, and then take it off when I don't want it there, or go with the phone Power Vision 4 so I can do it all from my phone. I saw in a video that a person enabled their Oil cooler fan using their Powervision 3, so whichever unit it get needs to have that function. I also want the ability of the bike to automatically adjust settings "on the fly" while riding at different altitudes. We may leave the house at 2.5K feet, and be at 10K feet 4 hours later. I want the adjustments to be maximized automatically. Please help me get the correct unit on order to meet my needs. I currently have stock exhaust, and understand I need the ability to get the larger O2 sensors mounted, so that means a change in my header pipe if Im understanding this correctly.
@DynojetResearchАй бұрын
If you want a bar-mounted display, go with the Power Vision 3 (PV3)-it allows real-time data monitoring, enables features like the Oil Cooler Fan, and can be removed when not needed. If you prefer a cleaner, wireless setup, the Power Vision 4 (PV4) lets you manage everything via your phone. As for tuning, Target Tune is the way to go-it uses wideband O2 sensors to automatically adjust in real-time while you ride, perfect for changes in altitude like your 2.5K-10K elevation trips. You’ll need to upgrade your header pipe for the larger sensors, but this setup will maximize performance and adapt on the fly.

@@DynojetResearch thanks for the detailed response. One follow on question...does the PV4 allow me to enable the Oil Cooler fan and the "cool fan" at the back of the engine also? If no, I will definitely go with the PV3.

Just bought the pv4 for my 23 fatbob114.....i thought i could auto tune,or at leave the choice. How do i atuo tune?
@DynojetResearchАй бұрын
If you just bought the PV4, Autotune Basic is already in the app. Currently, it's only out on iOS devices with Andriod nearing completion. For Pro and Target Tune, you'd need the accessory kits that feature widebands and respective modules. You can find those on our site.
