Planning the installation for the Dynon Avionics in my Zenith Super Duty. This is a shorter update because all I've done today is fabricate some mounting brackets for my Dynon Avionics. As in my other kitplanes this is the part I enjoy the most-designing and fabricating small mounts or brackets.
With the Lycoming engine, the Super Duty starts to get nose heavy so I want to mount some of the avionics further back in the plane instead of behind the panel. This just helps move some weight aft. Also, with things like the ADS-B, transponder, and comm radio mounting them further aft means I can have shorter antenna cables and those cables don't have to be bundled with other wires.
