The only thing I don’t understand is how there’s no heat damage, it’s still really hot air blowing through. Even if there are no hot plates, it’s still a lot of heat and I’m assuming your hair is going to get hot like with a blow dryer. Doesn’t really make sense

According to to science if temperature goes abouve 150 c in that case heat damage can happen - in dyson Airwrap and AS there is sensors who measure the temperature and cut off on 150 - it wont damage

It’s still heat and it will still cause damage. You need to use a heat protectant. The difference between the Dyson and your conventional straightener is that the Dyson just blows air and doesn’t heat up itself, whereas the conventional straightener heats up the plates.

I returned the Airstrait today. It's bulky, heavy and gets very hot. There's no way it doesn't do heat damage. It doesn't get anywhere near the roots and the straight doesn't last. It dries the hair out.

How long does the straightening last? Some straighteners I feel do a really good job and the styling lasts till the next hair wash, which usually 3-4 days. Wonder if this one is as good.

I have been using Dyson air purifier! Love it My hair texture is similar to your , I was not able to use Dyson hair drier and end up returning it ! But on your recommendation will try this straightener , The best part about the Dyson is their return policy specially with that price

Hey Sherry, can we avoid putting hair protection spray before we use the tool or we still need to use it to avoid any lil damage that can happen. What's your take?

The result seems amazing! Probably the best with the least amount of heat. How long does the style last with Mumbai humidity and monsoon season?

Hi Sherry! Loved watching this video, very interesting! Ty for sharing your views and as usual, you look amazing! ❤ Unlike popular opinion, I'm still not convinced that this tool is worth the price. Hear me out 😅 Based on a couple of review videos including this one, it looks like this tool blow dries one's textured hair into stick-straight hair with some grittiness to it. I have REALLY crazy frizzy hair myself, but I would much rather use my regular blow dryer and a round brush bc I get a MUCH smoother, and silkier beveled hair in under 15 mins this way. The style stays put until my next hairwash and I'm sorted. The finish with the airstrait isn't really up to the mark given its price. It's awesome that this tool supposedly doesn't cause hair damage but I do find that a little hard to believe, given that it does blow hot air just like all the other tools. Either way, we have heat protectants to help with that problem. I'm hoping that down the line, Dyson comes out with an even better version of wet to dry hair straighteners that leaves a better finish mimicking that of a salon-style blow dry, uses NO heat, has a smaller plug that's easier to use in Indian homes, has a reasonable price point (where we don't need to sell a kidney), is lighter and is more compact (travel-friendly). One can hope noe? 😅

Should one go with air wrap or with the straightener considering they have similar prices

How is it compared to straightening brush from air wrap?
@SherryShroff4 ай бұрын
If u just want a straight blowout vibe this is great. If u use all the other attachments and brushes with that then I would recommend trying both and seeing
@desertrose79674 ай бұрын
Sherry, could you please compare this with the straightening paddle brush attachment that comes with the airwrap?... it'll be helpful

Yes please. If we have to pick between airwrap and airstrait - which one would you recommend?
@aishasaeed68834 ай бұрын
Your hair looks Lovely!!!! I was looking forward to buy this but it hadn’t launched in India in Jan 24 and I went ahead and bought Airwrap. Now I regret not waiting 7 more months. Anyway what would you suggest people who already own Airwrap? Do you think I should replace Airwrap with air strait???? I know functions are different for both but if you want straight to natural hair would you suggest me to replace airwrap ???
@SherryShroff4 ай бұрын
Honestly I would sell the Airwrap or give it to someone close and get this if I were in your position. In the past week I have only used this and been very happy :)

Corrale vs airwrap vs airstrait your views?
@SherryShroff4 ай бұрын
I haven’t really used the Corrale so i can’t compare the two. But if it was me I would opt for something that can dry & straighten instead of just one.

If you recommend this product that much. Buy with your own money first. I tried it and there are multiple challenges with this product. I will not recommend this at such a higher price. Also, have you ever given a bad review on a PR product?
