It is actually really easy to use. If you actually take the time to use it rather than goof off it works great! You don’t hold the hair at the bottom like she does which Dyson shows you how to use it. It doesn’t tangle hair She is also leaving it against the scalp way to long. Now does it get hot yea like any hair dryer. But it took me about 30mins to do my hair. But she’s not really doing it right she should have followed Dyson a instructions. I have long hair and it works fine 🤷♀️.

For everyone being extremely negative and saying she did it wrong EVEN GUY TANG COULDN’T FIGURE IT OUT and he is a famous hair stylist who is amazing at curling and THEY DEMOED ON HIS HAIR IN THE DYSON STORE AND SHOWED HIM. For regular consumers and females who for the most part have long hair, this is exactly how confused we would be. Yall acting like you could figure it out so easily. $500 is not a joke and for that price point it should not even take all that much work to figure it out..this is a hair styling tool that would theoretically be used every day and from this review and all the others I’ve seen it just ain’t worth it.

baby prospect Okay, but even if she was using it right what about people with different hair types? I’m pretty sure this product wouldn’t be useful for people with curly or course hair and for $500? You should be able to use it for all hair types. Idk maybe this is my opinion but if you’re going to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars to make a product you should spend it on a product that can be used for all hair types. Also idk if you could tell, she was sectioning her hair not perfectly but she was sectioning it. To me this product just seems a bit gimmicky, why waste $500 on a product that will only give you messy curls when you can buy a curling iron for around $60-$70 maybe even less, and do the same thing + more?

Maybe try not pulling the curl out immediately even pinning the curls up until they're all done then letting them down. Ive watched a ton of videos on this because I want to get it and am on the wait list, I'm a hairstylist also so I really just want to get my hands on one to try more than anything. I saw another comment say that its good she is just going at it the way any customer would and that is so true. I think most people wouldn't watch a ton of videos to be sure they are doing it right. Most people want to get right into it. With that being said, What I have noticed for a few tips is you are supposed to hold the hair in your fingers about mid way down, and then put the wand at the ends. That way you have control while its wrapping around the hair and rolling up to your fingers. Then, a BIG thing I saw, was that you have to turn it off before releasing the curls. Also, one video I watched said if its too hot, and your on the highest setting turn it down to the next setting. Again, I havent tried it, but all of the videos I have seen, that was the consistent technique. I don't know, ill prob be the same when I get one lol

You should be holding your hair about three inches from the bottom, leaving your tips open - and then allow the curling dryer to grab your hair to get an easier and less messy curl. It also needs to be more damp to really grab the hair. That is what I've been seeing all the people who love it do. I think it'd be easier for you if you worked in sections as well as it seems to be messing up your hair around the sections your grabbing.

@@graceimel1196 oh yeah I know and it's not like she bashed it all together she said it would work better on people with shorter hair. Idk lately There's not many real swamp family members left I've been watching for over 3 years and every in and out in bunny life is just like normal people you have good days and bad and on your bad days you really don't want people putting you down.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS REVIEW! I had seen another review by a girl who did hair professionally, she had ethnic hair, but didn’t seem to have a problem with this Dyson. Her hair was not as long as yours or mine. I have pretty long hair myself and it resists curl already, even with product in it and the curling iron set to the hottest temp. I was floored at how your longer layers would just not curl with this thing and then for the barrel to not suck up your hair?? Oh no way! For $550.00 I expect way more from this thing. I’m so so happy I didn’t save up and run out and get this overpriced contraption!! You saved me $550.00! New subbie here! I like KZbinrs who tell things like they really are! Great review!!

It's a pre dryer because your hair has to be 75% dry before you can style it.

I have this same set. It works best if you hold your hair half way along the length of the strand to allow it to pick up your hair. It does take a bit of practice. I love it! That said, your hair is WAY longer than mine!

I think your hair needs to be more damp. The reviews I watched they kept spritzing their sections to keep them damp and the curls held better

Girl this thing is 500$, imo it should work on wet, damp and dry hair.

But it's literally a hair DRYER, just because it's expensive doesnt mean it should do something it's not made to do
@user-lm9se2oz7f6 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth0350 right lol?? And then at the end she said she was going to dry her hair first, then try to curl it with the dryer... it’s meant to curl damp hair. Her hair had barely any moisture from the beginning.. maybe this product doesn’t work well, but I’d like to see someone use it properly before I come to a conclusion of if it actually works or not.

Dyson has some of the best engineering out there. The quality of how their products are made is incomparable to others. They are made flawlessly and with incredible stability. I have used Dyson products since the first Dyson vacuum. AMAZING. Quality is why the price point is so high. You get what you pay for. 👍👍👍
@kellytzoc91276 жыл бұрын
Maybe back in the day but today.......things are made cheaper and cost more. Not the same quality as before but definitely the higher price tag.
