great question! Prepping your hair with a mousse helps - and it's all about the cold shot. I have a video coming up next with how I do my hair but I heat for up to 5 seconds and cool for 10 seconds at least. How your cool the hair helps it to set and stay. Using clips can also help it set in shape because as it cools it will always drop.

Hi! No your curl pattern doesn't change from braiding, and when you wash your hair, your curls will be there 😊
