Thank you. I just bought a gorgeous scarf from a lady at an arts fair. This will be my first style with it. The vintage look is so sweet.

This is a great video! As my hair grows longer I am getting a lot more scalp pain and tenderness on my hair roots especially with high buns. I find claw clips give me no or less headaches than elastic ties or scrunchies. Thank you!

After losing 40% of my already thin hair I was devastated. I did some research and found out that having covid in the high temps of over 104 twice in under 3 months was likely the issue. I went to my hairdresser who was shocked to see the amount of hair loss. The only way to fix it what to get a much shorter haircut than I had ever had in the past. Which she knew it was going to be a hard decision to make, but it needed to be done.

Thank you for this. I lost a huge chunk of my hair during the quarantine because i couldn't take care of it. It hurt my scalp so bad that i ended up having to take painkillers. It made me lose hope and made me want to shave it off. I've been struggling with my hair for years and it leads to breakdowns. Today was the girst time in my entire life that I've been able yo remove all those knots patiently along with you. My hair looks pretty and it doesn't hurt.

Maybe a real demonstration on wet hair and less chattering while swinging around the dryer doing absolutely nothing. I think half these attachments are just gimmicks. This almost proves it.

I’m 60 and I’m just learning how to embrace my curls. Thank you for your amazing videos! I’m curious how you style the front. I can’t get my hair to have that uniform “swept back” appearance at my hair line. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for all this! It’s not that I have curly hair (I have some wave to my hair but it behaves well enough with straight hair tips). It’s that I play in a dungeons and dragons game (dnd) and play a character with quite curly hair. Since we are a more storytelling style of gameplay this means little moments like even sitting down and doing one’s hair might show up as context for a scene between players. This has been helpful to me when having my character and another player’s open up to each other and let me play into a world building detail of my characters people which gives significance to braids, particularly among loved ones. However, as I mentioned at the beginning, I don’t have super curly hair like my character and didn’t understand the first thing about grooming it or braiding it or any of the other tips and tricks someone who does might have learned or been taught. So this video very much helped me understand what my character could and would be doing regarding their hair care habits. So thank you! I know this is weird to get a comment on, but I wanted it known that this means a lot to me since it helped enhance the story I am telling and helped me better set a scene that felt organic for me and my fellow players. Thank you

I looked at the names of the chapters on the video & just had to laugh a little....yes, I start from the bottom & front and take breaks...and break it into sections (sometimes TINY ones - a small bunch)...my hair is already thick, so having a "rat's nest" (what I've always heard this level of tangled hair called) is terribly unmanageable...unless you break it down a LOT. Also, it generally takes about 6-8ish minutes per side (I split it in half so I can focus on sectioning off the left side & taking a break before doing the right or vice versa)...it just requires a lot of grace & patience!! Also, maybe wet it a bit with some hair-healthy essential oil(s) & witch hazel...there's one recipe that works wonders, but I only do the witch hazel & a few drops of essential oils bit (partly because I don't always have all the ingredients on hand, partly because I don't have the energy half the time), so....hopefully that helps too! ❤

Thank you for this!! I lose a lot of hair like this as well. Ever since I switched to washing only once a week my hair loss in the shower is like yours or more. Brushing my hair and massaging it before I get in the shower helps keep the amount I lose in the shower to a minimum. Otherwise I run out of wall space for my um "hair art" 😅
