Thanks for making this! 👍 I was about to order a replacement head for €90, but instead got a part for €20 delivered. Took me only half an hour to replace the broken part 😊

Hi helpful because I didn’t know where the other screws where and they were under the bloody red strip u pulled out near start. However u doing the stem first means much less pressure and minimal rush of breaking. The bottom of the head will drop out easily by itself if left until time to pull stem/neck apart. Top can still come up in the same steps as you have. Cheers for the head mate. Appreciated

Hi there, how do you replace and where can you get a "Freehweel body" for the head, 5:02 It just broke on mine
@TheVacuumDoc5 ай бұрын
Hi there , you’ll have to look on eBay or from a local seller or repairer who sells that party . Can’t buy separately from big parties

Hi. I borrowed my beasties Dyson and the entire round part at 5:02 you showed broke completely. I dk how but now the neck just flops over and not stand up. It's the plastic under and around the 2 circular sides. Is there a way to replace that whole part or do I need to find an entire head?

Usually from to much turning and rotating in the head and a wire would’ve came out a bit. Replace head. Thanks
@philipgregory5064 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I've disconnected the wires from the motor but not sure of the polarity to put them back! On the motor there is one plain pin and one with a blue dot. I'm assuming white wire to blue dot, is that correct?
@TheVacuumDoc4 ай бұрын
It’s tricky to put in. I’d suggest watching a video on KZbin first.
@philipgregory5064 ай бұрын
I've sorted it out now, actually the black wire connects to the blue dot. My problem was the brush not rotating and thanks to this video I dismantled it and found the broken wire. Repaired with solder and managed to reassemble.

I mistakenly soaked the whole cleaner head underwater (not realising that there is a motor) Any suggestions?

Great video. There is two different lengths of screws, if you told us which lengths went where would be a great help.
@TheVacuumDoc9 ай бұрын
The screws don’t vary in size much but if you follow the video and don’t get your screws mixed up they will go back in to the same spot. I’ll make sure to point this out in future videos as well, thank you for your feedback!

don't understand why Dyson make the design so complicated. For generic home appliance should be user friendly for routine maintenance. If my V10 out of order, I will consider another brand. Anyway, the battery pack is long life. Very good performance. Really very very good !!
