They are both great vacuums. The Dyson has a higher wattage cleaner head. But the LG has superior battery life and now the mop feature and new more powerful motor

The crevice tool is made with notches to remove the cyclone so you don’t have to touch it (for the LG)

Definitely LG. I had a dreamy vacuum. the battery stopped charging after a few months and customer service was a nightmare

Am I seeing different the dyson didn’t pick up half the rice as it spat a lot of it out and you gave it way more time to pick up kitty litter. My dad owns a shop that sells both these and they are basically the same for picking stuff up but it’s a matter of preference elsewhere as in weight etc where I think the lg wins flat out but others prefer dyson

It's white rice on white carpet. I didn't notice. But after watching the video I did. They are both great

Did your LG not come with the hard wood floor interchangeable head? I believe the Costco bundle has both

I purchased LG twice from Costco, one more than a year ago I think for $399 and then again couple weeks ago for the upstairs. The newer version doesn't come with the softer roller head, but comes with a smaller tool for stairs. It was on sale at Costco for $299.
