Dyson V10 vs Samsung Jet60 on Stairs

Considering I vacuumed for about twice as long with the Samsung I'm honestly not impressed with the performance of the Jet60. It's carpet performance is not great and it's not much better on hard floors. I would get the jet75 or a Dyson.

I bought this vacuum cleaner for 150 euros without pet brush. Also with amazon visa deal it costs me 130 euros which felt really a bargain to me. Only thing I would like to ask, the mop attachement tool is also working with jet 60 as well? Could you try it for me? Also the fluffy head on jet 70 should work on that too. They tried to cheap out on fit brush.

Buying online companies don’t pay enough attention to the brushroll for ANY vacuum & it’s like chalkboard nails to my ears. Ppl say stick vacs are rubbish & go for a bagged vacuum, but the photos on websites only show the unit and not the floor heads. Most don’t have a rotating brushroll which means it’s useless on carpet. And it’s almost impossible to know if a brushroll can be removed easily without screws (main concern because lots of hair to tangle on our carpets) or whether the anti tangle bar is accessible (the Sharks put theirs in cages ffs) I’ve looked at vacuums since June & feel like I’m gambling $500 min.

For performance and reliability I would pick the Dyson v15. I have had mine since spring 2021 and it still performs like day 1. I use it daily for all my downstairs cleaning. That's the vacuum I would get.

@@worldapartmusic , could be import taxes from one brand to another. Not sure why Samsung is so cheap in Europe. I saw this Samsung at a store yesterday it was $330 before tax. The Dyson V10 goes on sale for $400 to $450 a lot.

Where I live the v10 is x3 the price of the jet60 though.. the v7 is also more expensive than the jet60

@@theJACKSON10I’m in Aus too, did you decide on a vacuum yet? I’m got a Shark handheld which is appalling so that’s $150 in the bin b/c returning a vacuum once it’s been used is next to impossible. Made me despondent about throwing more money away.

@@amandab3946 I actually went into Myers the other day… ended up just getting the Dyson V8. Felt way lighter than the I think v15 and ended up being $350 vs over $1000.. Actually pretty happy with it.. battery could be a little better though, so if you’ve got a big place the v8 might be a stretch. I’ve got a 2 bed apartment and it’s perfect. I’d recommend Dyson.

Yes. The head on the jet75 or jet90 is wayyyyy better. This one is almost useless on carpet

Of course the Dyson would pick up stuff if you vacuum with one vacuum then again with another one it would still have stuff in it

Not a well thought-out comparison. You should have treated vacuums equally, i.e., run Samsung first followed by Dyson, then on another stair run the Dyson first then the Samsung. In the beginning you used a dirty Dyson and then claim wow look at all that dirt the Dyson got on the first stair. Just keeping it honest.
