I had the first cordless like this years ago and used the heck out of it. Next I got the V7 and once again I have run that vacuum enough to have cleaned the surface of the earth several times. I have both carpet and tile and have used it on wood floors too. It picks up no matter what surface you have. About a year and a half ago they had one on HSN it was a newer model but had a bigger cleaning head and canister. It was much heavier. I am older so it was too heavy for me and I hated the bigger cleaning head and canister. It was very difficult to push it and get the entire house cleaned in one session. Sent it back. I have been looking at the newer models and thinking of replacing my V7. As far as the small differences of the V8 & V11 I would not pay the different if you find a good buy on the V8. HSN has a good deal right now you get just the crevice cleaner and since I have all the tools so that for me is good I don’t need more of the same tools. I think from other videos and such the main takeaway is the cleaning power seems pretty much the same so the couple hundred dollar difference isn’t worth it to me, I am used to how the canister opens and the two filters. Thanks for a video pointing out the few differences.

Still like the V8 form factor. Puzzled by the test running the V11 on Medium with the V8 on Low. Why not both on Low?

Did I miss how long each one ran for? I did skip a bit of your repeat messages on how to empty etc. Would like you to review latest stats on consumer forums and what may go wrong. Otherwise all very clear thanks.

I bought v11 advance. Anti tangle motorhead is making a very loud noise. It sounds like it's hitting something. Is this normal?

Just buy the V8 and save yourself the money.

when you did your the 1st dyson v8 review it was all good. Then when you compared the v8 to the v11 you make it sound like the v8 is ready to die and has no purpose it was on your face when you talked about the v8.

@@therealpinkyskullI just bought the V11 today from my local BJ’s club for 449.99. My son has the little bit of an older V11 which is why I purchased it. His is two or three years old and still works very good.
