Dyson is really cheapening their packaging and instruction booklets ya’ll. Great review as always and thank you. I’ve got a 2017 V8 and it’s been troublesome with needing 5 batteries in 5 years. 3 cleaner heads, a new HEPA filter and a new bin. Other than that it’s been a handy device.

I forgot to add. If anyone has good quality carpets, this machine is definitely NOT an upright vacuum replacement. I’ve been using a V8 in carpeted apartment, then I got a SEBO Felix and it picked up sooo much, the bag got filled ridiculously quickly in just 3 days. I then went back to using V8 for a year or so and recently tried the Dyson DC40 and it got filled up just like the SEBO!! So clearly shows the Dyson cordless doesn’t have as much performance on carpets. I don’t even believe a V15 or V11 Outsize will be as good as a quality corded upright, No way. Oh Max mode kills the battery, so try not to use it and if you do, only do it for very quick spot cleaning, not whole room vacuuming. LOL

You need to have a strong arm to hold the trigger and the machine if vacuum more than 5 mins. I do not like the trigger, if you release the trigger then machine is off.
