Yes Dyson - just listen to your customers and don‘t be so stubborn! It‘s easy to see why so many people like this one a lot more. Thanks for showing it 😎

Thanks, Best Dyson V12 review going on YT at this time. You 100% nailed all the issues, praying Dyson engineers take note. The power button should have been there 5 years ago wacky engineering even a £50 superstore branded stick vac has an on/off button but not a £500+ dyson! I can confirm with carpet use with original wand stick part does get loose over time(V8) at the connection joint part, it can occur even after 6 months daily use, I can sense dyson engineers claiming wear and tear already, but nope that is Dyson engineering they need to fix or improve on.

On that display if it’s anything like a V 15, you can turn off that particle graph and have the battery time remaining displayed instead, which is a genuinely useful feature.

I’m seriously looking at purchasing the new Henry quick, I wouldn’t touch a Dyson,aka “die soon” as from personal experience they have never lasted for very long at all. Kind regards to you Roger and everyone out there, Mark from Billericay 😀😀👍👍

I've recently got my Henry quick and I love it! it dose a good job on my carpets even on the low power setting and some of the carpets we have are considerably thick but it copes just fine and I'm satisfied its doing a good job, its quiet and certainly a solid built machine, I'm sure it will last a good number of years but of course only time will tell. The pods are very good at delivering high quality filtration and seem to last a decent amount of time, the battery lasts well even on the boost power setting but I don't personally use it very often on boost mode, its also good on hard floors as it does't snow plow large debris, its pleasant to hold yes its heavy but that doesn't personally bother me but thats down to personal preference. over all I give it a big thumbs up, I intend to make a video on it soon and may even do a vacuum of the month with it, providing that would be ok with you seeing as I believe you came up with the idea.

I agree on your point with the connection between the wand and the machine, on my dyson v11 it has snapped 3 wands and is now on its second main body and it’s only 1 and a half years old, it’s well looked after and I think that it’s the longer pile carpet that wears it you when you have to push it a lot harder for it to move even on eco. I’ve complained to dyson about the issues and all the want to do is send you replacement parts for them to break again !
@mrpurpleman9698
@mrpurpleman9698 Жыл бұрын
Yes had the same issue also, bought the original wand from dyson also and its happen again after 6 months daily light usage on my V8 and this is on short carpet pile. Its not wear and tear... its bad engineering from Dyson part. I even bubble wrap my wand to protect the coating. Next time I will go with a generic ebay replacement wand and see if there any better then dysons original wand.

Besides the Rainbow, I prefer bagged machines. I converted my central vac power unit to bags. There is one drawback to bags is the overall environmental cost due to most high efficiency bags made of plastic and the Henry Quick isn't an exception due to the intake being completely plastic. That said, if I ever wanted a cordless vacuum I would definitely buy any of the Numatic battery powered vacuums. To me, Numatic is probably the only "European" vacuum I would buy due to the simplistic and yet very robust design that Sebo, Lindhaus or Miele fail to do time and time again. I mean, when you go to an engineering school, one of the first rules you are taught is to keep things simple. Numatic vacs are the definitive example of this, due to simple (yet robust) cord rewinds or baskets, an on/off switch and very simple attachments.
@huskyvacs
@huskyvacs Жыл бұрын
"one drawback to bags is the overall environmental cost" You only change the bag once a month or once every few months at best. Also bags are made of paper or felt. How is using your bagless vacuum that has no less than 7 filters that must be changed every 3-7 months, parts that cannot be repaired, and just throwing the entire vacuum in the tip just because "it's boring and uncool and you look poor for your posturing shallow friends because you don;t have the newest $900 POS" any better? Also nice job contradicting yourself, you think things should be kept simple but insist on buying bagless vacums. Also your little phone you keep replacing every 3 months is more harmful to the environment than any vacuum can ever be. So throw your phone out and stop using it. But you won't, you will continue to use it and continue to posture about "environmental damage" while still using the same phone and changing nothing about your life and think your flawed logic means something when it never does.

Just bought a Henry Quick last week. On the whole, very happy with it, just 3 -vet comments to date. 1. Delivered by DPD, don't like them. 2. Can't put the tools on the cleaner. 3. When picking up cat litter some falls back out when you switch off. But so far very +vet about it.

The thing with a bagless for some reason you end up emptying them very often .You would go months if not years before emptying a baged vacuum depending on use

I actually own a Bissell Powerforce Compact Turbo, and it is bagless, but I tend to use it because it doesn't lose suction. Some bagged models do have a tall filter in place for suction so the suction isn't lost, however, bagless vacuums now have HEPA filters to protect from allergies, and my bagless bissell has an easy empty system. I always stand away from the trash can and empty it then, but I hold the canister somewhat down into the can so dust doesn't fly up as much. Overall, my bissell works well, but ofc if I get more money, I might buy a better bagless vacuum with HEPA filtration, or a Sebo X7 bagged upright, or even a henry.

Another thing with bagless is you also seem to spend X amount of time either replacing or washing filters

Part of me thinks the reason why they give so many pods included in the standard machine box is because in the event of them canning this product for poor sales, it makes no sense to give so many for any other reason. Under normal use these pods could easily last a month if not more(after all most people are not vacuuming every single day) so in that case 26 pods/26 months, over 2 years worth of bags. 4 at a maximum is more than enough to get started and then for customers to buy more when needed would suggest its going to sell really well. The design is kind of cool on the main machine but everything else is un impressive and not innovative. The floor head looks poor and power-wise doesn’t seem to be very good too considering they should have allowed for when the bag gets full enough power to still be usable. At least its not priced too high which has to be its strongest point.

Honestly one of the reasons I didn't like dyson was because of that stupid trigger, I'm not that old but I have grip problems so I don't can't imagine how bad it could be for somebody who was aging attempting to use that vacuum cleaner. The trigger one.

I mean like sometimes bags are better but it's an individual choice you have to make. At my house I would be fine with a bagged vacuum but e.g. at my grandmas house a bagless one makes more sense and that's because of the amount of dirt you have to clean up. At my apartment I only have to clean once a week and the bags would last ages but at my grandmas house(a farmyard with a dog and a lot of dust and grit) it would not make very much sense because after one room a bag with a capacity of 4.5 litres is completely full. So it is better in her place to have a good cyclonic vacuum so she saves up money. So the amount of dirt you usually have is also a factor you have to pay attention to

After reading your comment sounds like a stick vac would not be suitable anyway bagged or unbagged.
@huskyvacs

You are NOT saving money. You are just dispersing that money into several filters that in some years time will be impossible to find and the price will be raised higher and higher as production drops. Does anyone have any thought process anymore or what? Us a bagged vacuum. Also if you are letting that much dirt in your house then you need to change your living habits.

If you win the lottery and have zillions to spend, then you should import a Dyson V4 Digital from Japan. It'll probably be the last ever-Dyson canister with an electric powerhead.

Dyson invented the on and off switch... but they place it at the very top so you HAVE to use 2 hands now instead of 1. How innovating ! I mean I guess they have to do that, so their new models can come out with a better on and off switch placement so you can drop 1000 on a new dyson

Almost all cars have lost their V12s. European standards have regulated that corded vacuum cleaners must consume 900w or less. Dyson labels their cordless vacuum V12 as though it had an engine conjuring up images of raw power.

Your vacuum cleaner of the month has two big design flaws: Some of the tools do not fit tight and feel a bit loose because of the weak connectors and the robot that holds even the smalles dust particles uses a dust gun mechanism to be emptied...

You're absolutely silly if you think i'm baglass is better than bagged for the exact reasons above in the video.... I have severe allergies I have less problems with a bag vacuum.
