The look is fine but, this isn’t a silk press. I’ve done silkier with my babyliss.

This is a nice demo. I'm not sure I'd call it a silk press, but this does look like a less damaging approach. I would be nice to see bundles for the dryer and straightener that include brush, comb, case and spray bottle in addition to already included items.

The blow dry before the straightening wasn’t done very well, giving the straightener a lot of work.

If I'm spending 500 on a straightener there better not be any damage
@iwilson39503 жыл бұрын
@@promisesmithee943 Exactly! I think it was a poor choice of words. The point of the Dyson technology is focused on the less likelihood of damage from the tool (i.e. straightener) not "half the damage." lol

This is not a silk press and it feels way to controlled. I’ve been looking to possibly switch to Dyson but I need to know that my “textured” hair is going to be silk pressed, this looks like a good blow out. I would suggest, partnering with some stylist that specializes in silk pressing

Am I that thinks her hair looks BETTER than a traditional “silk press”? 😳 Her is thick, sleek,silky, bouncy, and has body! It actually looks healthy! Silk presses make your hair look pencil ✏️ thin & a lot of stylists use excessive heat, causing unnecessary breakage/dryness! Getting this iron. ✅

Update: Not gonna lie you guys....I tried the new L’Oréal Steampod 3.0 & it’s 1000x better!!! 💯✨ Took my Dyson back! The steam in the flat iron made my hair INCREDIBLY soft/silky & drastically reduced my breakage!!! Try the L’Oréal Steampod for type 4 hair!!! Half the price of this & 1000x better than this!

This allows for less heat exposure and it allows the true texture and full beauty of textured hair shine….ppl need to elevate in there perceptions of beauty and stop thinking that the only finished hair look is dead hair in a “silky” ie damaged hair press to emulate another cultures natural hair. You don’t have “silky hair” you have textured hair- let the texture shine in a clean, healthy way- thank Dyson for creating this product.
@amirahal-wehbi Жыл бұрын
No. Reason ppl aren’t happy with it is because if a girl wants this look, she could just blow dry her hair. Done. Same results. But a STRAIGHTENER should smooth out the hair! This product is ridiculously expensive and the results are mediocre. It’s not about what ok you like, it’s about what amount of money makes sense with what level of results.

Half the Damage?! It should be like "less damage". Although damage is inevitable due to the nature of being a flat iron... Dyson should've know better. Also in no way that I woukd exchange this to an Airwrap which in almost the same price (here in the Philippines) does many more styles than this cordless flat iron. I personally have this and I don't use it as often as I use my Airwrap complete.

I made the mistake of buying the blow dryer and not the air warp, so now if I buy the airwrap over the straightener its a waste

No.! This was a mess to watch. How a black girl don't know how to do a black girl hair smh. I get better results on my 4c hair letting my hair air dry and using my Ion Steam Brush to straighten.

She's probably getting paid a fair bit by Dyson to do this so its win win for her. It's not a bad video really. Id rather see hair like this than fake hair, at least it's her own.
