Every blow dryer brush company should definitely have you as their spokesperson along with this video. It was so thoroughly informative as you took your time explaining to us the correct way to use the brush. I always wondered what I was doing wrong, I was drying my hair too much with the blow dryer, not rotating the brush enough. and not using smaller sections. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This is THE BEST tutorial for drying hair and getting volume I’ve ever seen. You explained everything at a tempo that was methodical, easy to follow, and showed us how to do it on our own heads. Most KZbin stylists demo on a manikin or a model which does not help the person who actually has to style the hair on her own head. So thank you!

Thank you so much for this Gabi! My hair looks like yours when I dry it naturally only I have fine hair and a lot of it. It used to be a lot curlier but now that I have gray on the top, the top does something totally different now than what’s underneath I’m gonna give this a try and see if I can’t nail it.

I don't think I have ever seen a tutorial like this before. This is amazing Gabi. I learned so much from this... just the right way to dry the hair after sectioning. Thank you so much Gabi. I've tried for years to replicate the shiny locks my hairdresser creates, always without success...that was until I watched your tutorial which is a game changer. Ok, I was skeptical at first. But I followed your tips, and I FINALLY am able to reproduce what my stylist does! Usually I look great for the first 3 days and then back to my unglossy, unlisted “normal”. The root lifter, the application of volumizer to the mid and ends, and the Mohawk (genius) took it next level. I can’t thank you enough!

I love these brushes. I got so tired of holding a separate brush with a blowdryer, killed my hands. And as you have pointed out in other videos they are not all created equal. I got one on Amazon and it worked fine, but then I got another one with interchangeable round and flat brushes, and the round brush on that one most definitely gets my hair smoother than the old model. I waited so many years for a tool like this, similar to how in the we didn't have flat irons until 1995/96 (I was so sick of having to do roller sets). The brushes we had before the 2010 were small and less effective 🙂

@@dawnp9037 it’s called jireausty and it’s a 3 in 1 blow dryer brush that has a round brush, a flat brush, and a concentrator. I got it on Amazon.

Gabi, I love this video. Your channel has been very helpful. Thank goodness for your suggestion and link to the Tymo dryer too. It has 1500 Watts. Perfect, because it won't set off my circuit breaker like so many of the 1850 Watts dryers could do. Even better, it has an 8 foot cord. Yay. The price is not exorbitant either. This is just what I've been hunting for. The brush looks good too. Your techniques and tips are just too good. I've been watching your videos and learning. You make such elegant choices in your looks...your hair cut and your highlights are so pretty and in one of your videos you said what to ask the stylist for so I can get the same highlights. Your makeup never looks silly, just timelessly beautiful.

You look gorgeous--makeup, hair, skin. Thanks for a really excellent tutorial. Love it! Seems doable though I have thick, textured, long hair (2-3 inches past shoulder) that I have never been able blow dry. I have a weekly appt at a local salon and they wash and blow my hair (and color) and it lasts for the week. Again, love what you demonstrated here.

This really helps. I've been using the volumizer blog dryer all wrong! I have coarse curly hair. And the style with dryer has been good, but it my hair still looked frizzy. With rotating the brush, the frizz is mostly gone. Thanks!

Ive got thick, textured hair that's quite long right now. I bought a root booster type of dryer brush that you can't use that way, but I still got some valuable tips from this. Thank you.

@GlamGirlGabi. I bought the Tymo Blowbrush because of your review. I wish the barrel was a little smaller and switches was in a different location. It’s hard to hit my hair with the cool shot when having to stop to Switch. Same issue with the Tymo blow dryer, my hand keeps hitting the heat level position turning the heat down. I love all your instruction videos, very easy to understand and informative. 😊

I have wavy (not quite curly) frizzy hair. I found the blowout brush a while ago and fell in love with it. I recently tossed my old one as it was getting way too hot. I ordered a Lange one, and am not sure how much I love it yet. This video is so helpful! I was one of "those people" who was not quite using my brush correctly and ending up with some frizz still in my hair. I love the way that you explained this so completely and step by step.

I have thick curly hair so I let it almost dry, and dry it Mohawk method, spraying each piece with Colorwow Dreamcoat. I put the Tymo Hot Air Brush on high for about 30 seconds and turn down to low, rolling the brush and pulling it taught to finish drying and smoothing and roll each piece on a brush roller and keep drying my whole head. This tool and Gaby has changed my life.

YESSSS! This is EXACTLY how you should do it!!! Going cooler in the temperature is super smart too because you are controlling with heat and then setting the hair (while minimizing heat damage). Way to go Vicki!

You are amazing! My hair was long and down to the middle of my back until I got it cut this past week. I was really worried about styling it the first time. I have had a dryer brush for years, but had no luck with it till now! I did every step, root boost, volumizing mouse, rough dry and sectioned. I wish I could post a picture to show the volume! Thank you so much for the amazing videos you share. 😊
