My first Cannondale ATB had the same disk brake squeak problem. It was when the disk brakes were new on bicycles in 1999. Warranty replaced the entire brake system but problem remained. Solution: take off the disks and spray with brake cleaner, take small grit sand paper and sand them down on both sides. Remove calipers as well, wet their disk contact side with kerosene or gasoline and light a match. The short flame will get rid of any invisible grease or otherwise residue. This worked for me till the day I sold the bike 4 years later, and it will work for you.

I did hear about it but I'm not yet convinced that it's a real contender within the segment. Thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps if they become more popular, then it will be tempting to take it very seriously like it's becoming with Chinese car manufacturers already.
