This is all fine and dandy, but you guys need to tell these ppl (PVE Players) that builds don't help you AT ALL in the DZ. You have to know how to fight in the DZ in order for those builds to help you PERIOD. You have to move at all times, you have to strafe during reloads, you have to use objects in the field for cover to heal yourself. And that's not all of it. Builds don't work unless you know how to fight back. Or you can get a group of 12 and run around together and blast anybody who tries you ( Highly Recommend Large Groups) if you're a PVE Player. That's the only way to fight back against experienced players. We got 6 ppl BOTH Raid exclusive exotics with a group of 12 And pissed off the trolls that were in there because of the number advantage we had.

Thank you doer the video and info I am more of a PVE so I have run into 2 kinds of people. Those that recognize other PVE players and let the do there thing and those that will go and pretty much bully those that are because they see it as easy kills. To me that is what the bad part of the haw and has turned a lot of good players away fro the game. They feel like we are being forced to PVP. You have to invest in having to make a build which takes away from the PvE and vice versa. Just my observation

@P.A.Barber completely fair. The DZ isn’t for everyone and I avoided it until recently. It’s not my favourite part of the game but I’m pushing myself to expand my comfort zone.

@P.A.Barber I’ve been playing on and off almost since the game launched and I’m only just starting to really venture in. But, that’s my own prejudice toward PVP. One of my clan mates started playing in the DZ as soon as he hit level 40. He is an absolute beast in the DZ. The difference is, he loves the PVP aspect of the game, has learned how to play and has tailored his build to his experience and play style. This game is very cool (despite its flaws) in that you can choose to participate in content or not. It’s all down to what you want to do.

DZ is all about awareness, especially if you're solo. Always assume anyone you meet is going to go rogue, period. If you see a death on your kill feed that is close by, you can be sure whoever just killed that agent is on their way to you if you are not rogue. If solo, a pulse resistance build like the second one here is I'd say always best as you're a ghost when on decoy. Farm for a 10% pulse resistance mod if you dont have one. I've actually ran up to and within a group of rogues that were fighting me. None of them shot me because they all thought I was one of their teammates lol. Stay invisible. The first build is for if you want to fight, the second is if you just want to be left alone, basically.

I agree with you 100% however it’s not as much as the build as it is about the player and his/her knowledge of the mechanics in the DZ . To many pve players have a cover based mind set when entering the DZ and with that said they’re easy targets for a manhunt . The most important mechanic is learning to constantly move never stand flat footed and try to one clip anyone shoot and strafe while reloading RINSE AND REPEAT . Most understand this is a cover based game but the DZ is a different Animal . Hope the insight helps someone . I’m a day one so I’m sharing knowledge .

I personally always have two things in mind for visiting the DZ: 1) adds are considerably weaker in all aspects inside the DZ, period. Less armor and less damage. You'll always find a way to deal enough damage to deal with any landmark even if your build is all armor cores. Named enemies have a couple different skills and tricks that they only use inside the DZ's, but still, that shouldn't be a problem. 2) anyone can turn on you so always keep an eye on anyone around you when attacking a landmark and not being instantly engaged by the other person. So with this said my builds are mostly built around being able to survive pvp while also being able to dish out extra damage in one way or another (e.g the classic Ridgeway's Pride + Wicked + Sadist combo, 38% more damage to bleeding targets) Most of the time however, as of recently, every time I find myself coming across someone else focusing on attacking landmarks, they invite me to group up and it's always not just a good time but rewarding for everyone

I keep watching gamers who post their gameplays and they always have just the right stats for weapons. It’s a bummer that all their elite gear are maxed/god rolled and when I try to farm for that kind of stuff, it never happens and I end up wasting time and effort into farming for those specific gear, by the time I have something “decent” a “new” build is up. By the time I have a perfect rolled elite/exotic weapon and or gear, it’s two years later and my expertise level is so freaking low I just don’t see it making any difference at this point. I would have to grind for months just to get to do tick damage to the loads of people who are SHD over 9000. But I digress, your builds look fun and similar to builds I have already. I just don’t have the edge of level 20 expertise but thanks for sharing your builds. Keep up the great work agent.
@AgentMeat Жыл бұрын
Yeah, most of my builds are shown on my secondary character to nullify the expertise and watch levels to make the builds more relevant. In the case of the DZ, I feel I need to go in with the best possible gear to stand a chance hence this build. The best way I’ve found to get max stat gear is optimization. I run a new character every week through WONY to take advantage of the watch levels after Keener is killed.

The DZ is hard. NPCs are predictable but players are harder to figure out. If you go in with the expectation that you are going to get killed, it’s a lot less intimidating. The scenery is incredible and you can farm DZ credits from the little blue boxes and exotic components from the landmark caches without fear of them being taken from you; they go straight into your inventory.
@Solkard Жыл бұрын
Ninjabike is a godsend for solo DZ builds. It makes it incredibly easy to reach pulse immunity and still have a decent build to actually fight the NPCs. I have a DZ pulse build that I can harass rogues with, because I can spam pulse on them and they couldn't see me. It's fun to make them incredibly paranoid every time they get hit with the pulse. The downside being my stats are trash and I can't actually do anything else meaningful while using that loadout.

There is a known issue and a workaround with the Ninja Bike Bag. Step one is to swap Ninja Bike with another backpack. Step two is to swap the individual pieces out then back in. Step three is to put the Ninja Bike bag back in place. I have not had this glitch affect me yet but that may be what happened in your case. Other things to check are your specialization and ensure the linked laser pointer is equipped on your weapon. You can do a quick test in the Whitehouse firing range to see if its working or do a quick mission or control point in the light zone before you head in to the DZ. I saw a comment once some time back that (this is for PvE so, forgive me being off topic) if an NPC is even STANDING behind something, like a table or barricade, that it counts as being "in cover" and Damage to Targets out of Cover becomes negated... do you all think that's true - that only enemies fully out in the open are considered "out of cover"?
@AgentMeat Жыл бұрын
That is my understanding of in/out of cover. If an NPC exits cover but stays very close, DTOC often does not proc. DTOC is a good attribute in PvE but it really shines in PvP as players are more often than not out of cover.

Awesome builds. Quick question, are DZ landmarks good for XP farming? I'm looking for an alternative to convoys
@AgentMeat Жыл бұрын
I’m honestly not positive. I will have a look after work tonight to see what the XP gain is from a Landmark. Convoys, Territory Controls, Public Executions and Propaganda Broadcasts all have the same XP. On Hard with 3 directives, I was going up a watch level every 2-3. I completed the season in 4-5 evenings doing only those with the occasional mission or Control Point for some variety. If you do hit a couple of control points, reset them so the convoy spawns don’t drop off.
@gcates107 Жыл бұрын
DZ landmarks do tend to give more XP, especially at Challenging and Heroic levels. The only pitfall is the fact that when people like myself see a red landmark (meaning it’s been engaged by players) we tend to investigate who is farming in our DZ and if they have pod their taxes. If you can find a pretty quiet server though, you should be ok. Most groups looking for PVP aren’t interested in fighting solo farmers…but that doesn’t mean you won’t get rolled up on either. Just don’t get discouraged if you die. It happens, we all do.
@AgentMeat Жыл бұрын
@@gcates107 dying is part of the DZ experience. You have to go in knowing you’re going to die. The other advantage of farming landmarks over control points is you get 4 Field Recon Data (flags) for each landmark rather than 2 for a control point.

The tipping point in my playing around with stats is somewhere at or above 50% crit chance. @AgentMeat Жыл бұрын
I have a video on my channel that covers a resource run near DZ south. The other area in Washington that has a lot of materials is between two he Solar Farm control point and the Capitol Building. Start at the Solar farm and just zig-zag back and forth between the parallel paths on either side of the grassy area as you move toward the capital. Once your watch level is over 1000, you can run a mule character through WONY. Watch levels are account wide so your mule will start with the same watch level as your main. Once you’ve defeated Keener, your new character will have your current watch level minus 800 in scavenging. (1000-800=200 as an example) Purchase the Account shared resources blueprint from Inaya at the crafting bench, then top up the resources that you need. These will be available to your main character. Once all the scavenging points are used up, you can delete the mule and repeat the process.
@gabrielshuz Жыл бұрын
@@AgentMeat thank you for the information, yeah I know about the mule method (which seems by far the most efficient), I just wanted some other sort of way to farm for them because for me it's basically hope for an EXP exploit and make a mule, other methods don't seem worth it to me.
@AgentMeat Жыл бұрын
@@gabrielshuz fastest non-exploit way to level up is hitting resource convoys, Territory Control points, hostage rescue and Propaganda Broadcasts (they all give the same XP) with as many Directives active as you can manage. I recommend Hard difficulty and 2 or 3 directives to start. This will give you a watch level every 2-3 activities. Hit control points for some variety as well but reset the control points when you see the spawn rate of resource convoys start to fall off. When the season manhunts are active, you get extra XP as well. Using this strategy, I got through the current season (100 watch levels) in 4-5 days of playing in the evening after work/supper.

The DZ is more about knowing how to fight other players than on what build you are running. I’m still a relative noob when it comes to the PvP side of the game. Some basic advice; use all available cover to your advantage and keep moving. If you stand still and trade shots, you will probably loose. Also, understand going in that you are probably going to loose most engagements. When you loose, inspect their build to see what they are using and evaluate HOW they beat you and what you could have done differently. That’s how you learn and grow as a player.
@JCFRESHNO559 Жыл бұрын

The reason I think they put that done and the ravenous into the dark Zone was to keep this game going towards a PVP playing game I like the division as 40 I don't like getting into fights over microphones talking crap to each other I like supporting and helping each other get better at the game you don't even Call of Duty these days since it came out really but people screaming and hollering and they sound like this in their 30s or 40 year old acting like children swearing at each other they should just take a plane ride beat the park somewhere do get out leave it off the game for all these kids to be hearing over the microphone I have to turn my speakers down because the kids will hear it they're grown bed doing this it's crazy so yes I have a crew for 2 but we don't run through just killing The Underdogs we only kill those that come in sometimes that's even possible that's always a better player no matter the field so find a bill that best suits you

I appreciate this video I do but I just need to say this one thing for all you teams out there that are running and gunning down people that are just trying to farm you should really leave them alone and he's solo player in the dark pizon you should leave them was ballon damn Manhunt for stuff like that you want to fight somebody fight somebody that's up to Snuff with you you know you dislike going out beating up a kid in a school ground because you had a bad day

I got mine in a named item cache during one of the global events. That’s also how I got my Orbit pistol. On every global event, I make sure I activate the event; every watch level nets you a star and there are various other star rewards during the event. The named item caches cost 8 starts from the seasons vendor.

Too many hackers in DZ. No thanks.

Based on my recent experiences, I’ve had good experiences in the DZ. That isn’t to say I’ve survived any rogue encounters I’ve had but they have been few and far between. Most of the players I’ve com across are doing the same as me/us; farming. The PvP players have gone rogue, gotten their kills and moved on. All our drops were still on the ground when we got back to them.
