Smokey’s death was so painfully beautiful. It’s so hard to describe because he was aware that his time came and even if he survived the attack, he would’ve still died from the illness. It was beautiful how he’s smiling and thinking back to memories of his family and friends and dies with a smile on his face. It was truly beautiful and I feel like Japanese films hits you differently and I’m glad I was able to watch High and Low because it was truly a masterpiece.

Smokey was played by a well known actor in Japan and the dudde has busy schedule so that's why the plot is for him to die early. we hardly see smoky in gang fight action . but only a few scene where he do Pakour and 1 on 1 with yamato from sannoh from which he clearly show how skillful and strong he is to the second strongest in sannoh gang.

Literally one of the best movie series on Netflix. I cried for Noboru, for Cobra and Yamato, the Amamiya brothers, for Rocky of White Rascals, and for Smoky. They are family and care for each other so much.

Ok someones gotta tell why this isn't one of the biggest and most famous T.V shows in recent times cause it's amazing. Smokys death was so sad but beautifully executed, the characters are unique and different from each other, the fight scenes that seem both realistic and superhuman at the same time. High&Low series is just so different. I've never seen somerhing like it before and I don't think I'll ever see anything like it again. It's a masterpiece, an intricately drawn sketch with every little detail given the best of perfection. True, I've seen some movies which have really got to my heart but this packet was on a whols different level. It had a blend of everything mixed in one. Usually when there are such large casts, half of the people don't even have a clue upon what to do and that's visible by their expressions during the movie and usually movies with large casts go down the slope but here everyone knew how to handle themselves. I honestly believe didn't get the recognition it deserved just for being an asian movie. It's something everyone should watch because it's a gem waiting to be discovered.

High & Low movies are one of the best movies in Netflix. I cannot move on with Smoky's death. I love the comaraderie of all the gangs with its members specially the bond of Kohaku and Tsukumo. Thanks to youtube because it is the reason i discoverd this masterpiece. The story is not that deep, u won't need a huge amount of understanding to grasp the storyline. But what makes this a masterpiece was how all of them, despite the fact that they are all gangsters, never used a gun to the other guys just to win. They used their fist to communicate. And how the productions team managed to give us an intense fight scenes, wow just wow! It felt so real. Anyway, Smokey's death was really painful 😭 I'm here because i just finished watching everything.
