I wanted to make this review a little bit long for people that actually want to invest in this set, I went thru why I bought them and my overall experience with this lens set. Thanks for doing this review. There are many, but yours and CVP are the only ones that show what this lens can really do. Also, thanks for showing how the vignetting works on full frame.

all i can say is.. WOW. this video is by far the best video ive found that demonstrated the image quality for this lens. i was strongly considering between the new meike t2.1 prime lens kit, or the dzo pictor zooms here. ive always been a zoom shooter with sigma art glass for my lumix s1h/s5 . but was considering cine lenses between zoom or prime. but man, after seeing your video, i am dying this image characteristics for my production. thank you alexandru

I think I like the 50-125 the boka looks much softer although the other they need to be in my case. I just got the Canon C300 super 35 MM and are using the EF photo lenses at this point

Well, probably because white is not as wanted as black when it comes to lenses and production of white lenses is more expensive.

These are the Hottest lenses on the market right now! DZO are the new Sigma 18-35/50-100mm combo. I disagree that 35mm is going out style, but FF is definitely a look that a lot of film makers will adopt. FF requires a lot more light to get a working depth of field for narrative content in my opinion. Great review, the 22-50 is an amazing range on Super35 or FF!

I have bought the zcam e2 m4 with metabonse speedbooster - it does not fit with the DZO's - is it because of the metabones adapter? Do i need the Native adapter?

Yes, It can’t work because of the speedboooster, you need the zcam ef mount for it to work.

Hey Alexandru ! Awesome content. I also own an F6 and was considering the lenses. I was wondering if you could do a small video with more in depth info on the coverage of the lens and the F6?! It would be super helpfull. I was thinking maybe showing the whole zoom range of both lenses without cropping the image ? Is there a point where there is no vignette on the zoom range or the vignette is always there? For example my 18-35 1.8 vignettes like crazy from 18 to 28 on F6 but beyond that there is no vignette. Thanks for your time!

Hey man, the vignette is really minimal on both of them, 5%-10% will cover you sensor no worries. Compared to 18-35 the vignette is way smaller

they are very usable on Full Frame, I cropped very little in this video and most of the shots are not even cropped so you can use these lenses without issues on FF

I've only used Tiffen Promist, which is very nice! I keep on using it depending on the project but I try to not over used it since some footage looks better without.

The white one is for those who shoot under direct sunlight. The white helps the lens keep cooler I assume. Not being mass produced I understand the higher price point for the white compared to the black ones. I prefer the black ones as I'm not situated in the warmer environment and having black makes more sense for me to not be as visible in reflections.

also Shims are used to set correct FFD, and what you ware talking is adjusting a beck focus on para-focal zoom, so next time before you do a technical video about something google the terminology and get to know how the zooms actually work.

Most of the shots in the video are not even cropped it to be honest, the vignette is really minimal like I explained in the video.

Full frame is overrated. I'll never use it. The only people talking about full frame now a days(other than one or two well known film makers) are people coming from the mirrorless world.
