what I did was I used construct point to later be interpolated and make my own curve. I then used the formula you used Diameter of circle= Length of curve/Number of spheres. Though I was kind of confused why the value 2 was added. Then I realized, and correct me if I am mistaken, diameter is the addition of two radius, so the value 2 multiplies with the number of spheres. The whole tutorial on grasshopper is really helpful, thankyou so much.

If anyone gets an issue in E.1 where the expression is not working try disabling 'show full names' (if you have them enabled)

If turn on Display/Draw Full Name the Expression component will not work (there no reason). You should recommend others with this little issue.
