Sad to hear the accident. It has happened to my wife long back. Luckily our neighbour took her to the hospital. The nails were cut and bleeding. Now it's healed. This might have happened because of the release of pressure externally and the hand or fingers would have been sucked inside the blade area. It has happened to me also though in a mild form. Even today I shudder to think of this and scared. One tip. While operating the smaller jar, please do not over load. This can cause pressure to build up and it is not easy to hold with bare hands. Best wishes for an early recovery
