Captain introduced many gems, one of the gem is Karthik raja, was so underrated composer, Alexander came in 1996 still i remember Nadhiyoram veesum thendral song was HIT and running in All India Radio channels those time.

10:44 அப்பா சொல்ல மாட்டங்க, I think Raja had mentioned in another interview also questioning why he should teach others, it is very intriguing. He himself went to Dhanraj master, TVG and others to learn music but never believed in teaching. He is human like all of us but functions at a completely different level cerebrally and we constantly keep trying to know about how his brain functions when it comes to music, அவர் ஒரு அதிசயம்

Only Pandiyanin raajiyathil song in the Pandiyan album was composed by Karthik Raja! Uzhaippali BGM was done by him. VALLI is composed by IR!

@@Maha-ri3xp OMG, it is you, Maha2014! Was a subscriber to your ex-channel, and a regular commenter too. What you said, I can put the same with name changed: If you look at KR's discography, it is obvious that he could not have "composed" Ennulle, and other "generous" mentions in your original comment. Even at the 2023 Chennai concert, IR indirectly hinted (to Dhanush) that Ennulle was indeed composed by him. KR is definitely super-talented, has excellent knowledge of music, and IMHO even better than YSR.

Annakkili went unnoticed in the presence of Naalai Namathe 1975 ,Neethikku T Vanangu, Apoorva Ragangal , Aval Oru T Kathai, Idhaykkani. Your father was doing only small films in the late 70s, which was under MSV 's dominance till 1982/1983 People in Jaffna watched Annakkili only for Sujatha, never even bothered about its songs, completely unimpressed. It was TN media, and few people were propagating by virtue of inexplicable reasons. We have lived through those eras, and have been following cinema music for more than 5 decades. We know the fact, by posting this we do not get anything out of it,but expose the fact only. The quality of music MSV has given is unparalleled & immortal, with minimal facilities, while others duly at their disposal, this is how MSV stands out.

VALLI is composed by ILAYARAJA. Rajinikanth prattled out of poor memory which his fanatics took as "fact" no questions asked! Mention O-N-E song that is similar to the emotion/tune of EnnuLLe in Karthik Raja's compositions. IR even indirectly suggested to Dhanush at the 2023 concert that it was composed by himself!
